@TheProtPrince @adpatriam And none of the reasons for why he is distancing himself now contradict any of his writings, his statements, his general behavior, or any of what my friend is saying. He himself is the second witness.

Do with this information what you will. It was sent to me privately. I asked if I could share it publicly and said I would keep his name/picture private.

I don’t think I deleted anything? I think maybe that was the other guy in the thread. Wolfe went to a great amount of detail to explain why he chose to wait to distance himself. If it’s verifiable, then give the testimony of 2-3 witnesses and make them come out publicly and confront Stephen with their allegations. Stop being cowards. So are we quibbling about the definition of hearsay or gossip? Either way, you’re guilty of both. I just think it’s funny that you choose parse words as a defense for your effeminate behavior.

I find it weird that you deleted your earlier comment. But ok… Anyway, the testimony of my friend is not unverifiable. Nothing my friend here is saying is new information; it’s just further testimony of what Wolfe has already done plenty of publicly. Wolfe has never once publicly rebuked anything Spangler has said, all while publicly calling him a friend and a good man. Wolfe is telling on himself. And we need men to act like men and call him out on his hypocrisy, not defend him. Stop being cowards.

@Reformed_Rican @adpatriam lol this is the definition of hearsay. You are reporting to the public a second hand account of something that you have no way of verifying (I.e. a rumor) because you weren’t there.

This man is a social media influencer. That is his job. He has found his niche, which is poasting rage bait for clicks. We do not even know if his story is true or if he is actually a Christian in private. There's a non-trivial chance his alleged wife isn't even real.

We’ve reached the “virginity is an idol” stage of the discussion.
Trevor Sheatz@TrevorSheatz

Virginity should not be the #1 factor Christians look for when considering who to marry. Godliness and being attracted to them is. Virginity matters, and it's a blessing from God. It's not wrong to desire someone who is a virgin. And past sexual sin regularly carries present-day consequences. But I fear we've placed virginity on such a high pedestal that it's become an idol for many. The Bible doesn't say that someone "is free to be married to anyone [they want] — only if they're a virgin." It says that someone "is free to be married to anyone [they want] — only in the Lord (aka, only if they're a Christian)" (1 Cor. 7:39). In other words, what matters above all else is that your spouse is a believer, virgin or not. Again, while desiring to marry a virgin isn't a bad thing, it becomes a bad thing if it causes you to miss out on marrying the person who truly matters: the man or woman who's born-again, passionate about Jesus, excellent in the God-given characteristics of a godly wife or husband, and physically attractive to you. And a mature Christian should desire those things in a potential spouse above all else, regardless of the past sins the person may have gone through (though they should certainly weigh out that aspect as well in this decision, since it does matter).

@AJKocman @Deaconstephen To be clear, Samuel is uttering blasphemy. Nowhere in the Bible is Christ’s bride referred to as “formerly promiscuous.” Jesus is not a polygamist; He’s not marrying multiple brides but one who is chaste and pure.

If you just let your kids observe the world and describe their observations to you without rushing to correct them with the socio-political dogmas of the past 80 or so years, they will become unfathomably based.
