Today we said goodbye to Jenny, @macmillancancer Experience Panel member since 2023. Small in stature, quiet of voice, but mighty in impact. Even when unwell, she advocated for ovarian cancer awareness & always showed up for Macmillan. Rest easy Jenny, we will miss you 💚

Staff at the Northern Ireland Assembly have chosen @macmillancancer as their ‘Charity of the Year’ for 2026. The announcement was made by the Assembly Speaker Edwin Poots MLA at an event in Parliament Buildings today. The Speaker was joined by Assembly Commission staff, as well Aaron Nugent from Macmillan Cancer Support and Jessica Sturgeon, who has been helped by the charity.
