you've been writing code for 2 years. can you explain what happens in memory when you declare a variable? can you explain why your API call takes 3 seconds? can you explain what your framework is doing under the hood? depth beats breadth every time in a technical interview.

frontend isn't the best starting point for beginners in 2025 not enough jobs, too saturated, and frameworks change every other month backend, databases, systems programming (Rust, Go, Java) - that's where the real opportunities are learn the fundamentals first. build strong foundations in low-level concepts what do you think?
