gpt-5.6 is probably being saved for anthropic's next release anthropic knows it needs to win back average users, so its next model will likely be near-opus level, cheaper, and more reliable openai knows anthropic's next move will target its users directly, and that's when they drop their next major model

THIS TOOL SHOWS YOU EXACTLY WHERE YOUR CLAUDE CODE TOKENS ARE GOING this guy was spending $200+ a day on Claude Code with zero visibility into what was eating the tokens. so he built a terminal dashboard that reads your session transcripts and classifies every single turn into 13 categories with no LLM calls. what it shows you: > cost by task type (coding, debugging, exploration, brainstorming, etc) > cost by project, model, tool, and MCP server > daily activity chart > AND its interactive: arrow keys to switch between today, week, and month 56% of his spend was "conversation" where Claude is just responding with no tool use and the actual coding (edits and writes) was only 21%. more than half the money was going to Claude thinking out loud instead of actually writing code. one line install: npx codeburn free AND open source.

My render credits peaked at $1.3 million. None of it was real. I don't mean that philosophically. I mean it was generated by models that have since been deprecated. I own thirteen private model zoos. Five in Runway. Three in Kling. Two in Luma. One in Pika. One in Pika that exclusively renders me in slow motion. And a lifetime Sora God Tier subscription I paid $219,000 for because the sales rep said it was "the future of human expression." The future of human expression is now a TikTok filter. It turns your cat into a poorly rendered version of you. Last year I mass-DM'd 487 people the phrase "cinema is being compressed into god." Forty-three blocked me. Twelve sent back videos of their uncle using the free tier to generate vertical rants about pineapple on pizza with exploding fruit physics and perfect lens flare. I saved every one. I watch them when the credit balance dips below $800 and I need to remember why I started. That's community. I got in during the 2025 gold rush. Everyone was training likenesses. Someone dropped $720,000 on a model trained exclusively on his own face delivering TED Talks next to a holographic Elon while the background was just fire and Lamborghinis. The hands had seven fingers. I said it was bullish. "Fingers are a roadmap item," I told the Discord. "The hand model ships in Q3." Three hundred fire emojis and one guy who said "this is literally religion now." The hand model did not ship in Q3. Q3 was a pricing update. I called myself a "synthetic auteur of the diffusion epoch." I put it in my Twitter bio. I put it in my email signature. I said it on a Twitter Space that had seven listeners. Three were bots. One was a scam account that tried to wire me money for a different opportunity. The rest were my alts. My AI-generated shorts get more views than anything I've ever filmed with an actual camera and an actual crew. My actual apartment has a water stain on the ceiling shaped like a middle finger. The future of human expression. My most valuable asset was a 4K hyper-detailed clone of me walking an empty digital runway. A fashion brand commissioned it. The brand pivoted to "AI ethics consulting" six months ago. The campaign is still rendering somewhere. The wind simulation is perfect. The lighting is cinematic. Zero human eyes have seen it since the pivot. It is the most beautiful content no one has ever watched. That's portfolio diversification. I held. That's what we called it. Holding. It means auto-paying $4,200 a month while the platform renames your favorite model "Enterprise Legacy Tier" and sends you emails titled "Remember why you started (please don't cancel)." We had a Discord server. We voted on which models to hoard. Eleven members. Seven were me on different accounts with different anime profile pictures. The motion to "acquire strategic diffusion weights" passed 11-0. That's governance. I voted seven times. My portfolio peaked at $1.3 million in render credits. I told everyone. I made a spreadsheet. I projected 40x returns in content value by 2026. I made a pitch deck. The pitch deck had one slide that said "WE ARE BUILDING THE FUTURE OF HUMAN EXPRESSION." The slide had a rocket emoji. That was my entire financial model. In 2025 I spent $197,000 training 412 custom versions of my own face. They are now collectively worth about the same as a slightly used Roomba. I don't talk about the 412 faces. I still use one as my avatar. People ask if it's real. I say "I'm long-term bullish on my own face." Long-term bullish means if I cancel the subscription the dashboard plays a two-minute goodbye montage of every render I ever made, set to piano music. I have canceled and resubscribed four times. I have seen the montage four times. I cried twice. The third and fourth times I muted it. That's retention strategy. My mom asked what I do for a living. I said "I'm architecting the next evolutionary leap in visual consciousness." She asked why it costs more than her house. I said "you don't understand the velocity of the singularity, Mom." She said "I understand you microwave ramen at 3 a.m. while whispering to your AI clones." She's not in the Discord. She never will be. A guy I know spent $2.1 million on a fully autonomous AI video studio. It was supposed to generate infinite content while he slept. Last I checked it was outputting 38-second clips of cats walking across keyboards with subtitles that said "sigma grindset" on repeat. He told me I didn't understand the technology. I didn't. I bought three more studios. One only generates videos of me nodding approvingly at my own previous videos. That's a content flywheel. WAMGI. We're All Making Generative Intelligence. We said that every day. In the group chat. While the credits burned. While the platforms merged and "transitioned to enterprise." While the free tier users generated more views in a weekend than our entire server had in a year. We're all making generative intelligence. None of us made anything anyone watched twice. But we said it with conviction and a synthetically generated profile picture. That counts for something. It doesn't. But we said it did. That's creative consensus. OpenAI spent more than the GDP of several small countries building video generation. The physics still break. The fingers still melt into the background. The official response was "artistic ambiguity is a feature of the medium." Then they turned the flagship into a phone app and called it "democratizing creativity." Democratizing creativity means vertical slop for the timeline. Mission accomplished. They restructured from nonprofit to for-profit. The CEO went on a podcast and said "we're building the future responsibly." Responsibly means the safety team was laid off twice and the enterprise tier costs $10,000 a month. I'm on the enterprise tier. That's conviction. I pivoted. I'm an "AI cinema eschatologist" now. I bought credits in a generative video platform that doesn't fully exist yet. The founder called it "the intersection of spatial computing and diffusion architecture." I don't know what that means. I gave him $40,000. He has a whitepaper. Forty-seven pages. I read the title and the tokenomics section. The tokenomics section is a pie chart. I love pie charts. They make everything look like a plan. The project has a roadmap. Q1: "Build creator community." Q2: "Launch beta." Q3: "Scale ecosystem." Q4 is blank. Q4 is always blank. That's where the pivot goes. My accountant asked me to value my render portfolio for tax purposes. I said $1.3 million. He said "current market value." I said $3,800 and some change. He stared at me for thirteen seconds. I counted. I always count. He asked if I had any other assets. I showed him the 412 faces. He stared for longer. I told him they were "generative artifacts with long-term creative provenance." He asked if I'd ever considered index funds. I told him index funds were for people who had already surrendered to the heat death of the universe. He told me to leave his office and never come back. The AI video gold rush is over. I don't accept that. I am a synthetic auteur of the diffusion epoch. I own thirteen model zoos across five platforms. I have a 4K clone walking a digital runway for a brand that no longer exists, 412 versions of my own face worth less than my actual face, and a lifetime subscription to a product that has been renamed three times and sunset twice. The future of human expression. I am standing in it. It renders at 8K. The lighting is cinematic. The audience is me. But I'm early. I'm always early. That's the same as being wrong except it renders in 8K.

Took me 5 minutes to make this and it’s 100% AI. I’m not even kidding — this is basically a cheat code. Script → Avatar → Video That’s it. What actually makes it work: - Strong hooks - Real-sounding voices - Fast, scroll-stopping edits I tested this with 100+ creatives and: - Made $3.5K+ - Dropped CPA from $37 to $25.40 It’s way easier than people think. Comment “AI” and I’ll break it down for you (must be following)
