@Marksism__ He's rubbish. I've heard these sort of excuses for numerous poor players over the years. The bloke is 6'2. It's not like he shouldn't be able to compete physically.

@NeilJamesWriter What do you expect Smit to do if they’re just lumping the ball up to him? If they actually played on the ground then he’d be able to get involved more. JRS also isn’t a left-winger so no wonder he wasn’t great. He’s been fine when he’s been played in his main position.

Robins totally fucked up last night, moving Sorba to RB. No arguments about that, but as long as we are recruiting players like Smit and Rak Sakyi, nothing is going to change. Finishing clear of relegation trouble is probably as good as it's going to get.

@potter0075 Rigo isn't a number 10...no idea why he played there unless Junho wasn't fit to do 90 mins. He was excellent last week playing a bit deeper, but blows hot and cold. Not a patch on Burger.

@LeeStockley He is so shit. One of the laziest players I've ever seen. I watched him for 20 minutes on his debut and could see that. Jon Walters was apparently calling Palace every day to try and sign him. That's why we are where we are.

Rak Sakyi is a dreadful player. Zero effort, strolls through games, little end product. Yet another poor signing.

@NickHan57242431 My dad used to see him in the bookies. I asked him if he'd get his autograph for me - fair play to the old man, he took a programme featuring Shawry into William Hills and asked him to sign it. I was about 10, so didn't appreciate that he must have felt like a right bell end.

Watching the goals, the first one Simkin let in wasn't as bad as I thought in real time. Does take a big deflection. The third one is very poor, even though you'd expect a striker to score from that position.

I need to stop being so optimistic. We only managed to last until the 64th. 😭
