this will never happen but if Elder Scrolls 6 was an Xbox console exclusive, NOT EVEN a PC release, and it was every bit as good and revolutionary as Skyrim was, evolves massive fantasy worlds, it contains all of Tamriel, has a great story, etc… would you buy an Xbox?

Getting back to Xenoblade, man, the first part of the game is good, but it just builds so much steam from chapter 8 and onwards.

@Rawameriwani Made the switch to it after it launched and haven't looked back. It has such an amazing library. It's the most fun I've had with a console in some time. Enjoy it m8.

Rawa 🎮 Dragon Quest IV & Grandia II
And it is finally here! My first ever Nintendo device since 1998, all thanks to Sony’s anti consumer approaches. Excited to finally play Xenoblade Chronicles and every Fire Emblem playable on the Switch 2. Who knows maybe I will finally get into Zelda too…

Bought a Nintendo device for the first time since 1998 (Game Boy Color). After owning every PlayStation device since the OG. Fuck off Sony, fuck off PlayStation. Never ever. I would rather have Key Cards than nought!

"Saving physical gaming" *looks inside* *It's a digital game*

Honestly, the hate on Switch 2 Game-Key Cards is kinda missing the point. They aren’t some corporate scam to screw us over—they’re actually saving physical gaming. Look at the tech reality right now: games are just too massive. A ton of modern titles are way bigger than the 64GB cartridge limit. If Nintendo started manufacturing massive 100GB+ carts to fit them, the retail price of those physical games would be absolutely astronomical. Instead of just giving up and going 100% digital-only like everyone else, Nintendo actually found a pretty clever middle ground. Plus, there are some major perks people are overlooking: The Switch 2's onboard SSD is pretty good. Running a huge game from internal storage instead of a slower cartridge means way better performance and barely any loading screens. Unlike a digital code that gets locked to your account forever, the physical card *is* the license. That means you can still lend it to a friend or resell it when you’re done. You still get the actual box for your shelf, and stores can still stock them. At the end of the day, it's just a practical solution to a really tough hardware problem. Game-Key Cards are basically Nintendo's way of recognizing that fans still love physical media and trying to keep it alive. 🤷🏾‍♂️ The only thing I wish is that there were Switch 2 models with higher internal storage 😩 256GB these days is not enough lol

Absolutely dystopian day for gamers everywhere. Yes, even you who doesn't care about physical games and has a fully digital library. All this does is funnel everyone into digital storefronts where PlayStation and co. control the pricing operation. You will lose additional options and pay more for games. Look at any nearby storefront's pricing versus what you'd pay for with that very same game on PSN. This is not about upcoming handhelds or even that digital purchases outweighing physical. It is about maximizing the dollar spent everywhere and cutting out the middle man. Pulling the trigger when PSN isn't even feature complete with things like back compat, gifting games, has major security exploits, etc. is certifiably insane.

@mrpyo1 Grew up with PlayStation consoles. The PS2 was my first console ever. I've owned every console of theirs since then. PS5 is the last one for me, barring a course correction I doubt we will ever see.

The PlayStation I loved is long gone man - $1000 dollar consoles coming - Subscription prices will rise - Games will go up in price - Less games made than ever (first party) - Still a big focus on GAAS The future of gaming has never looked so dark 💀
