Your story that he was arrested on a fresh charge and ‘whisked away…to Kuje Prison…to be arraigned on Monday’ is procedurally incorrect. A person arrested on a fresh charge cannot be taken straight to prison. No prison will accept such a person without a remand warrant duly issued by a competent court. He was taken to prison as instructed on the attached remand warrant pending when he meets his bail conditions, nothing more!

@fimiletoks As someone who owns Firman 6.7kva Gen and uses it actively everyday for 8hrs a day. I replace my Gen every 18months. The old one is still in alternating use. The last time I bought Gen was 16th Dec, 2023 at N670k. I don’t use Fuel, I use gas. It’s cheaper. Here is my cost ⬇️

Firman 6.7kva Generator - N945,000 Salvage value - N100,000 Depreciate asset over 6 years ( useful life ) - 945,000 - 100,000/ 6 = N140,800 Monthly cost of owning the generator - N11,700 Est. Yearly Maintenance cost - N60,000 Monthly maintenance cost - N60,000 ÷ 12 = N5,000 Total monrhly cost of ownership & maintenance = N11,700 + N5,000 = N16,700. Daily cost N556 and hourly fixed charge is N23 6.7kva generator will give 5kw of energy. Petrol cost N600 × 28.5 litres = N17,100 At full load, 28.5 litres of petrol should power the generator for 12 hours of continuous use. N17,100 ÷ 12 = N1,425 per hour to run the generator for 12 hours of constant electricity + fixed hourly charge of N23 = N1,448 Total cost per kwh - N1,448 / 5 = N289 per kwh to get constant 12 hrs of electricity. Cost of change over box, cables, and installation fees ( transmission and distribution not factored) Personnel cost if you have a maid or guard that fuels and puts on the generator for you. Are my estimates correct?

@fimiletoks Some months ago, gas sold for 7,500 per 12.5kg. I change Gas carburettor every 6 months at 20k per one. I do oil change every month 3k oil and 2k workmanship. The reason I change Gen every 18 months is to avoid too much servicing and mechanic cost. Besides the efficiency.

@fimiletoks 12.5kg of gas gives me 12hrs of light. Presently buying at over 16k. I own 4 12.5kg cylinders. I fill them up weekly at almost 70k a week. I try to manage some days and reduce to 6hrs of usage. I have tried fuel and the result was more cost. 10 litres for 4hrs.

@DemolaRewaju Ndi Igbo will not vote @OfficialPDPNig if the party’s candidate is from the North. The handwriting is on the wall. Without the Ndi Igbo, there is no PDP. Ndi Igbo in this case is South-South and South East.

Everytime PDP picked presidential candidates from the South, the parties that became APC picked from the North and no 'analyst' queried them to match PDP on it, because zoning is a function of power. Now APC is in power, analysts are trying to balance the onus on APC and PDP 👍🏽
