Why is it that when some people release an online course, their audience broadly says “cool” but when others release an online course, their audience broadly says “scam”? Been thinking about this recently, here are some malformed thoughts

@AliAbdaal An online course starts heading into the scammy category if: 1. The creator is unknown. If the creator is unknown, they can probably get away with a lot 2. The content is not well-researched, unreliable, or too outdated to be useful 3. The marketing is too good to be true
