The round trip was 414.88. They said they would credit me, which i don’t see by the way, but a credit doesn’t compensate me for the over 470 getting there cost, not including return, or losing 24 hours at the resort i pre booked with my friends. @united

So now I’m sitting on the floor in Newark booking myself a one way to ft Myers on American, hotel, and a damn ferry to get to key west in time for my friend’s birthday weekend. All in, just to get there cost 470 dollars, and i don’t even have a return flight yet! @united

So now even though the plane is still sitting there and i offered to just throw a bathing suit suit in my pocket if this was going to be that literal, they tell me i have to rebook downstairs. Gate agent says there are no more flights and then they cancel my whole trip @united

I travel over 200 days a year and have NEVER seen this even from “budget” airlines. I even offered to throw the bag out and just put a bikini in my pocket! The gate doesn’t close till 15 minutes before and there was still 40 minutes, and they wouldn’t let me check in!@united

So then a @united employee sees me fumbling at the kiosk and tells me i have to check a bag. I had a small duffle with literally a couple tiny bikinis and a book and a little back purse with my wallet. They said well now it’s too late and you can’t check a bag. I was like what?!

Showed up over an hour early to check into my @united flight from Newark to key west on Thursday, only to be told i had to wait in line at a kiosk when I had nothing to check-they said i could ONLY check in online if i was checking a bag. Kiosk took forever, had no suitcase…

I love when the captain comes on to “apologize for the inconvenience” that we are going to Cozumel instead of the originally planned port to avoid a tropical storm, which we are sailing through now. Like, you want to take us AWAY from the storm?! No apology necessary🤣 #shiplife

@LisaSky_Art I don’t know…..i was one of the last on the plane and there was still room for my large duffle right above me🤷‍♀️ I would never randomly put my bag upfront if I was sitting towards the back like wtf is that?

@OperaGaga I assume it's carry on luggage - I think people take up the spots overhead even though they're sitting further back. Then the flight attendants put luggage in the back and the people at the front need to wait for the people in the back to leave, so they can access their stuff.

I can officially say that eating fast food in Spain “slaps” as the kids say. I just had a ridiculously supreme experience at a Burger King. I haven’t had fast food in years but heard regulations were different here and it did not disappoint! #burgerking #spanishburgerking

@jbartonmezzo I so feel this! People are always like, “better be careful to not hurt yourself on that pole or in that ring” and I’m like don’t worry, I only tweak muscles or get whip lash when I’m doing something unimpressive-picking up my fork, turning a doorknob, that sort of thing.

I'm at the age in life where I literally injured myself blow drying my hair yesterday. Tweaked a muscle, so now I take all of the Tylenol and get PT massages. 😂 (Upside: I'm also at the age where I've lost all fux when it comes to how my use of emojis and gifs shows my age...👍)

Here in Spain, I run across a lot of Brits and German people with hiking sticks. To the point where many touristy beach shops in Torremolinos sell them. And I’m like, guys, you’re literally in the grocery store…..
