@MichaelAArouet I’d choose to live in the UK over a number of US states. The biggest concern I have for the UK is their trends. Eventually GDP does matter in most of those categories. BTW I’d substitute murder rate for gun deaths. Not that I’m sure that the US would make a better showing.

GDP per capita in the poorest US state, Mississippi, is higher than in the UK, yet based on many other metrics the UK is way ahead.

Number of 150+ IQ people in China is more than 4 times the USA because Chinese average iq is 107 vs 98.
It's closer to 30 times more.
And the ratio of 150+ IQ people getting whipped into studying hard and going into STEM is also significantly higher.
