Did you know? Over its two-year implementation period, the Social and Behaviour Change Communication for Nutrition (SBCC/N) project reached more than 104,000 participants. Key activities included mushroom cultivation, vegetable nurseries & kitchen garden, livestock distribution (cows, goats, rabbits, pigs & fish), Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs), agricultural initiatives through newly established greenhouses and radical terraces. #EmpowerRefugeeCommunities

📍Happening Now Today, @PlanRwanda, @WFP Rwanda, and partners are hosting a reflection meeting for the Social and Behaviour Change Communication for Nutrition (SBCC/N) project. The project aims to improve the nutritional status of women, adolescent boys and girls, and refugee children under five years of age. It targets five refugee camps in Rwanda: • Mugombwa Refugee Camp
• Kigeme Refugee Camp
• Kiziba Refugee Camp
• Nyabiheke Refugee Camp
• Mahama Refugee Camp It also supports seventeen host community villages surrounding these camps. Today’s meeting will: • Share project achievements and upcoming activities. • Identify lessons learnt and challenges encountered. • Gather recommendations to inform future programming. • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of implementation approaches.
