🚗 Obtaining a Category B driving licence has been a big dream for Sophia, 22. Having never seen any girl driving in her community, she went for it and succeeded. Sophia is part of the SOYEE Programme, advancing access to employable skills for 80 young people in @NyaruguruDistr.

Today, @ABA_Rwanda hosted a team from @PlanRwanda, including @HoP_PIR, Child Protection, ECD & Safeguarding Manager @Hakim_mugenyi, and the Partnership Specialist, for a roundtable discussion on the impact and achievements of the Rindwa Child Protection Project.

Yesterday during the celebration of International Day of Family with a theme ''Ibiganiro byiza, ireme ry'umuryango''. Bamporeze supported by @PlanRwanda collaborated with @BugeseraDistr in organising the GBV Mobile Clinic where integrated services were provided to GBV victims.

To support parents & caregivers' efforts, this week @CaritasRwanda, through its #ECDProject supported by @PlanRwanda, distributed over 11k kg of nutritious porridge flour & 5k+ kg of sugar to Home-Based and School-Based ECDs in @BugeseraDistr, @GatsiboDistrict, & @NyaruguruDistr.

This weekend, in @BugeseraDistr, in partnership with @PlanRwanda, we brought essential #SRHR services closer to communities in @NgerukaBugesera & @KamabuyeBugese sectors, with a special focus on adolescents and young people. Through this outreach, residents accessed free services and information aimed at promoting healthier lives, informed choices, and improved wellbeing. #SRHR #AdvancingHealthRights

🍲 When families have food on the table, children thrive. Working with @IImbaraga, @PlanRwanda has established 3 greenhouses to empower 102 local farmers - 60 women & 42 men - in Nyaruguru, Gatsibo & Bugesera districts to adopt climate-resilient agriculture for food security.
