The worst kind of news has just hit all of us at Nurburgring where Juha Miettinen lost his life today in a multiple car collision. I've known Juha for 20 years, each one of them filled to the brim with him enjoying driving the Nurburgring, one of those guys that never seemed to be able to get enough of the place and was always there with a smile. RIP my friend.

It's a very debatable verdict from the stewards, but it's not like controversial rulings like that are a new thing.

@cozierpanda @wearetherace Not at all harsh, If anything it's forgiving. Especially in QF all drivers have to deal with traffic, if it kills your lap, it kills your lap. Track is dangerous enough without faster cars shoving their noses where not needed. Wait 2s, Porsche pulls over and clears.

🚨 #3 Verstappen Racing receives a 3-place grid penalty and will now start from P9 instead of P6 after Auer caused a collision with the #941 Porsche.

@JaroslavHonzik @davidperel This update was like two opposite steps. In one way they went forward a bit and in another they went back. I think the tyre model is now too forgiving, and it kinda forces cars to have the same characteristics. Physics felt okay, just far too much grip always.

I never been paid by any sim racing game. It’s not that hard to understand… I love sims thats why I play them for over 20 years and when I like something I say I like it and I play it and when I don’t I say why… and what can be better 🤷‍♂️
