@PlantBasedNews It’s not for me. I’ll stick with lentils chickpeas pea proteins and tofu. I understand the desire to help heavy meat eaters transition but I used to be one of those myself and yet something about this just feels like it’s going to go very wrong. Pulse power all day long. 🌱

Amazed to not only see a new species of butterfly that I’ve only previously seen abroad, but also to record it less than a mile from my house, and to top it off, an even rarer variant call “Helice.” Ladies & gentlemen, I give you the Clouded Yellow…! 😍🦋

@brclothwrites I gave myself a bread ban a month ago and it’s made me realise how much bread I ate! Moving forward I’ll see it as a treat like chocolate - it makes me feel sluggish.

@WriterHannahBT I’ve built 3 ponds in my garden so far and counting! 4 mini pools in the front too that the pigeons hog. And 1 pond at the allotment with a little rock pool I made with old washing up bowls and empty Christmas chocolate tubs. They’re super handy just pop rocks inside and water!

It’s hot! Where’s the nearest water source for wildlife around you? 70% of natural small bodies of water have vanished since the 1970s. Putting out shallow water dishes (& add stones for mini beasts) will help wild ones. Make sure anything getting IN can also get OUT.

3 years ago I launched the swift brick camapign. 2 years ago Labour voted for the same legislation they’ve just turned down. They can still embrace it but please use your voices to encourage them. Ask your MP to sign this EDM edm.parliament.uk/early-day-moti…

MPs who voted against this are being utterly selfish, putting petty party politics above survival of a species. Anyway for what it's worth I've emailed my MP @AlisonEBennett.
