@RecTerrace Think that’s more Russell than Arundell that’s game breaking to be honest. Arundell just ran north to south on a line expected of every winger

It’s hardly an original take but the bench was so impactful tonight. Kepu improving every game. A few big interventions from TdT. Hill and Pepper monsters round the breakdown and Underhill smashy-smashing.
As predicted, they were introduced earlier tonight and it just smothered Sarries 💙🖤🤍

BATH 62-15 SARACENS
Did not look likely after 15 mins, but we tidied up the sloppy errors and really bossed the breakdown. Very clinical in attack.
Defence was so good after HT - another second half lock out 🔒 Bayliss MOTM and lots of good individual showings. Lawrence super powerful and sharp 💙🖤🤍

Amazing to be 16 points up after that half. First 15 minutes were very messy.
Bayliss, Lawrence and Alfie carrying really well. Arundell with two match-changing moments - the quick throw for Finn’s 50:22 and the intercept.
Got to tighten up now, but we’ve a lot to come from the bench #COYB

💙 Tonnes of power across the 23. This feels like a full beans selection
🖤 Will be interesting when we deploy all that power off the bench - maybe a bit earlier than normal? Especially given Sarries have gone 5-3

Was too reliant on tmo and now he makes his own decisions they’re just poor .

Amashukeli had a pretty good game but this is very problematic. Smith almost certainly doesn’t kick the ball away if he knows it’s a knock-on advantage only, and that’s what ultimately leads to the try

Steve Borthwick afterwards mentioned the confusion around this knock-on. Fin Smith kicked the ball away, having been told England had a penalty advantage, right as Nika Amashukeli said it was just a knock-on (after a call from the TMO) and that advantage was over. Led to Bielle-Biarrey's fourth (!) try. "I think that World Rugby needs to look at that kind of situation. You can't have the players playing with certain knowledge and then it taken away from them."
