I spent £50 on a week of Google Ads, got 152 visitors but no clients. I know why... I run a test advert for one of my companies. This is my first Google Ad. I got 152 hits on my landing page but no conversions. Why? Simple. My landing page is shit. I built it utilising the best practices I found online, via Google. It has not worked. I spent £50 to find out that my landing page is bad. Some could've told me this for free! I think it's time to start utilising @RmndDesign 's Pagerekt correctly 😅

Yesterday's experiment. I matched colors for easier circuit visibility: 🔵 BLUE for the LED 🟢 GREEN for the piezo 🟡 YELLOW for the button + RED (5V) – BLACK (GND) This was maybe my first build where I had to IMPROVISE, but that's what hardware is all about, is it not !?

Just confirmed I managed to lower the cost of running an analysis for PageRekt, so I dropped the price for users as well. Next step: removing the “roast” focus and just delivering the feedback. The roast will still exist… just hidden 👀 Feels good to build in a healthy way.

kept seeing way too many components with too many states, so wrote a little helper. Is it perfect? No. will it keep your component clean with zero casting and zero boilerplate? Yes.

I need to find a way to build a startup alongside a 9-5 that's actually healthy. Last week I fell ill with inflamed gums that caused intense pain and kept me awake for at least 21H a day, and now I'm dealing with a root canal issue. Haven't worked on my startup since it started. Haven't been this "happy" in a while. No pressure on myself. No constant struggles over why I'm not converting. No obsessing over traffic. I like what I'm doing at my 9-5. I also like building the startup. But juggling both can be really unhealthy. Until I figure out what needs to change, I'm dropping the startup for at least another month. Just blindly pushing through and hoping it works out while my sanity stays intact isn't feasible.
