@Mbahdeyforyou This is the only way to do overhead press. Anything else is a waste of time compared to seated overhead press on a smith machine.

@Tooth_Chipper @SamaHoole @timmerax It doesn't, at all. Sardines have a bad rep for absolutely no reason, they're quite mild as far as fish goes. Less 'fishy' than tuna or cod.

Nobody has ever given a full-throated sales pitch for a tin of sardines. That is a market gap.
Allow me.
The tin is food-grade steel, lined, sealed, oxygen removed. The environment inside is more controlled than most restaurant kitchens you have eaten in happily and without incident.
No preservatives. Canning is heat and the absence of oxygen. Just the fish, suspended exactly as they were the day the boat came in.
The omega-3s survive it. Studies comparing fresh to tinned show no meaningful difference in EPA and DHA. The fish was caught, canned within hours, and the fatty acids went nowhere.
The bones are edible. They have been sitting in olive oil long enough to become soft, and they are the calcium delivery mechanism the sardine built for itself. You eat them. That is the intended use.
What the tin actually contains: EPA and DHA in immediately usable form. Selenium, iodine, B12, CoQ10, vitamin D, calcium, complete protein with every essential amino acid.
Your protein shake has twenty-three ingredients. The sardine grew its own nutrition in the North Atlantic and asked for nothing.
A food humans have eaten since before written history now apparently requires a defence.
Buy the tin.

@SamaHoole I love a tin of sardines, preferably in tomato juice.

If the UK was US state it would rank 1st in life expectancy 1st in state with lowest Homicide rate 1st in avg years in school 2nd in lowest drugs deaths 3rd in minimum wage 9th in HDI 10th in lowest obesity But.. 51st in GDP PC Yet again GDP per capita doesn't equal qol.

If the UK joined the US as the 51st state.
We would be the poorest state in the entire union.
Mississippi which is portrayed at swamp dwelling hillbillies in majority of international media is above us.
I don’t think people grasp how far we’ve fallen in real terms when it comes to GDP per capita.
We’ve seen no growth for almost an entire generations.
We’ve seen our productivity decrease and our tax increases.
The average person on the UK, on £50,000 is less well off than your average Mississippi swamp dweller.

JUST IN: New analysis reveals Brits thought the UK ranked 7th against US states in income per person — it actually ranked 51st.
