Catholic. Semi-pro curmudgeon and father of three. USMC. Very fond of St. Mary. A big soft spot for M14s and F350 duallies. 5.56 is ok but just so.

I am a proud Roman Catholic. I love Ancient Rome and the Western Civilisation. I follow the path of Tradition. I don't really care much about the rest.

@EvanAG1999 @cathconclave The great leveling. It’s really nothing more than errors of Russia seeping into the Church. They didn’t elevate the laity; they tore down the Priesthood and indirectly, the Kingship of Christ.

Outside this church is a plaque detailing key years "Church interior reordered to facilitate the full, conscious and active participation of the faithful, reflecting the insights of the Second Vatican Council." Unfortunately, the reordering just looks very dated now...

St Leonard & Mary Catholic Church, located in Malton, North Yorkshire. Built prior to the 1100s, and became an Anglican parish during the Reformation. It was returned to the Catholic Church in 1971 as an ecumenical gesture, and is currently the oldest Catholic church in England.

On Thursday, I heard from our Marines who are integrating with @USSOCOM to strengthen the Joint Force. We are proud of how our Corps partners with special operations—naturally complementing one another’s mission in defense of our Nation.

When a "charity" receives 96% of its income from the federal government, it is NOT A CHARITY, it is a GOVERNMENT AGENCY... Progressives hate the mixture of church and state, until it benefits their desire to import people who hate us.
Maddie Rowley@Maddie_Rowley_

1/ This Catholic Charities shelter in Miami received 96% of its income ($29 million) from the federal government in 2022. It spent $14 million on "other salaries and wages." Further, it was UNLICENSED by the state of Florida at the time, yet ORR still contracted with them. Source: 7th Presentment of the Florida Statewide Grand Jury on NGOs from 2024

Homeless people are using dogs to test drugs for them on Skid Row in Los Angeles, California. Non-profit group Starts With One Today says dogs are being abused, thrown away, sold for drugs, neglected, and fed drugs to make sure there is no fentanyl. Animal advocates are ripping Mayor Karen Bass and other elected officials for not taking enough action. “We’re coming out here, risking our lives to help these dogs with no support from the government,” said volunteer Joey Tuccio.

@Mad_PicSnaps @Gun_Bunny_USMC @sentdefender I don’t understand whatever language you’re using and never served on a carrier so whatevs. The worst navy chow I’ve sampled were “elephant scabs” aka “veal Parmesan.” Even that wasn’t horrible.

Hey Jay... imma keep it hundo with ya, big dawg: That photo was 100% taken on a navy ship. The blue table covering is the same exact fake-ish leather blue covering they put on the tables in the mess decks. The deck matches the white spots on blue deck color. The bulkheads are dark black at the base, followed by white, which is the same colorscheme. It's even rounded on the corner. That meal looks very legit for what they could serve. I've been personally served the bbq tacos. There's a chance the people who took the photos only grabbed one or two items from the galley and posted it online. But if they're on battle rations, that can be pretty brutal too.

Pictures published by USA Today show meals served recently to Sailors onboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), as well as Marines serving on the USS Tripoli (LHA-7), an America-class amphibious assault ship, both of which are currently deployed to the Arabian Sea in order to enforce the ongoing naval blockade against coastal areas of Iran.

Photo of one of the responding officers during yesterday's false alarm at Florida A&M University. He must take occluded shooting very seriously as he has his front cap down whilst responding to an "active shooter" situation. Also, he appears to be a right handed shooter. If so, I have no idea how he's going to activate that light with the tailcap mounted behind the VFG 🔦 I cropped the guys face out as this isn't a post to dog on this dude; just a reminder to check your home/self defense gear set ups so you don't end up doing occluded shooting on a two way range in the dark because you can't activate your WML with a proper grip. Check your set up accordingly... #fail #police #florida #FloridaMan #cops #aimpoint #occluded #nope

Today, we were honored to celebrate U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sergeant (Ret.) Jason Pacheco as he moves into his mortgage-free, specially adapted smart home built by the Gary Sinise Foundation. From a young age, Jason discovered a natural talent for shooting - a skill that would ultimately lead him to the Marine Corps and into the Scout Sniper Platoon. After graduating at the top of his class and earning the title of High Shooter, he deployed to Afghanistan in 2010 as a Scout Sniper Team Leader. Just three months into his deployment, Jason was pinned down in a four-hour firefight. While conducting a battle damage assessment, he stepped on an improvised explosive device. The blast caused a traumatic brain injury, a below-the-knee amputation, a fractured femur, blown eardrums, and widespread shrapnel injuries. Through months of intense recovery, Jason pushed himself to heal and return to the Marines he had promised to stand beside. Less than a year after his injuries, he became one of the first three Marine Corps amputees to return to a combat zone on full duty, a testament to his determination, resilience, and commitment to his fellow Marines. Today, Jason continues to move forward with strength and purpose, raising his children and participating in adaptive sports, including hockey and track, with hopes of one day competing at the Paralympic level. This home will provide Jason with the accessibility, independence, and stability he deserves as he continues building his life forward. Jason shared, "We have our forever home, thank you is not enough." Welcome home, Jason, and thank you for your extraordinary courage and sacrifice. 💙 Click here to sign Jason's digital Wall of Gratitude: bit.ly/4mywqAH A special thank you to the American people and our amazing partners, without whom this would not be possible: @SunbeltRentals, @NICELtd, and @century_wire.
