@DrunkGalloway @TXRUpdates Yeah man fuck the owners for wanting to protect their investments from things that could potentially stop them from playing for the team they are paid to play for.
English

@TXRUpdates This is another ownership problem, they shouldn't get contracts voided for playing for their country.
English

Players should just say fuck the insurance and play anyways
Just Baseball@JustBB_Media
The President of the Puerto Rico Baseball Federation has considered removing the team from the upcoming World Baseball Classic. This is due to a number of players not receiving permission to play because of insurance issues.

@albania1443 @thanos876 I’d argue it’s higher iq to simplify the steering wheel rather than it being packed with tons of different buttons.
English

@thanos876 The wheel has never been an issue for ferrari though, vettel, kimi, leclerc and sainz had no problems and didnt change it, maybe cuz hamilton has a low iq and wouldnt understand it so they had to simplify it.
English

That old wheel, is like living with someone who is an hoarder, and Lewis came in and cleaned house for them.

The new Ferrari steering wheel (left) compared to the old one (right)! 📸

@MattMsully23m @SNewfootballfan @PatMcAfeeShow @JeffPassan A large reason small market teams ,other than that bitch ass pirates owner, don’t spend is because it can get way out of hand quickly. A cap and floor makes revenue easier to predict and having a better understanding of your budget makes spending money a whole lot easier.
English

@SNewfootballfan @PatMcAfeeShow @JeffPassan The “small market” teams aren’t going to spend anymore if there’s a cap lol.

"Baseball fans want to feel like their team has a chance going into the season and right now they don't..
It's not just the fans either because I heard from players last night asking how do we beat the Dodgers" ~ @JeffPassan #PMSLive
Pat McAfee@PatMcAfeeShow
"The anger from MLB fans about the Kyle Tucker deal is understandable and it is warranted.. Baseball needs to listen to their fans because right now they feel like this game is unfair" @JeffPassan #PMSLive

@DeposedRoyalty @Damon98_ $60mm a year to play for the Dodgers. Be mad, but calling him a loser is just funny.
English

Felt this was coming. Bad news.
Will Sammon@WillSammon
Edwin Diaz and the Los Angeles Dodgers are in agreement on a deal, league source tells The Athletic.
English

@AndyBSplash @RapSheet Most teams are owned by 1 rich guy in a medium to small market. The Dodgers are owned by a group of rich people in the biggest market in the entire world. They have infinitely more money than any team and no small market will ever be capable of competing regardless of spending.
English

@RapSheet It’s great news actually, tell your team to stop being acting broke
English

@AustinsChats @brian_t04 @MLBONFOX One cannot exist without the other. A floor just raises the average salary. It doesn’t promote owners to spend more on big name free agents.
English

@astrosCTH Walker doesn't need to go. Altuve does. Or one of Paredes, Correa or Pena needs to learn the corner OF. Trading low on assets is not the way to keep the championship window open and neither is trading assets with club control still attached. The only player that fits - Altuve.

@Leto_21 @lil_trevino24 @LosPollosTV @MLB @BlueJays Most IL stints by a team in MLB history and just barely missed out on playoff baseball.
English

@quallsastros @jakedc6 Hard to write in good lineups when all your good players are on the injured list.
English

I wonder how Espada would do without all the injuries.
I know injuries cannot be the sole excuse, but I feel like his decision making that has felt tired amongst many in the second half has been somewhat inflated considering the team was already in a dire situation.
Bennett Sousa and Josh Hader going down were massive blows.
The 6-7-8-9 chain of King, Sousa, Abreu, and Hader proved to be deadly in the first half of the season. After the injuries, it’s been more mixing and matching, seeing what may work, and forced to use guys in innings that don’t work for them.
On the flip side, decisions like pinch hitting Christian Walker against the Mariners a week ago, against a lefty, in a big late game situation was imo absolutely the correct decision over Jesus Sanchez. Walker has just sucked at home, but he’s still the best option. Sanchez is god awful anywhere. Just because it doesn’t work is probably more indicative on the player and coaching.
I’ve been very back and forth on Joe this season. I still don’t know what I want.
English

@astros @MethodistHosp Could you make it more stressful next time please?
English

@MobBossMatty @michaelschwab13 You’d rather have Peña with bases loaded even if he does end up hitting into a DP there.
English

@michaelschwab13 Dude that was a perfect throw, it was a good send. I love being aggressive there. Either way Pena would’ve grounded into a double play to end the inning
English

@KINGCloud37 @BarstoolHubbs If you implement a floor it won’t do anything but raise bad players salary. Cheap owners will still be cheap and their teams will still be bad unless you add a cap as well. That could incentivize cheap owners to spend because it won’t cost them as much as it does now to compete.
English

@BarstoolHubbs Tanking teams spending as little as possible on their payroll and MLB execs worried about putting a cap on teams who care about having and paying good players.
