@Timcast My stance is that without proof, I do not believe anyone. Especially when it appears to be a coordinated effort. Why now? I think Swalwell is a scumbag but this seems odd. I am not getting on the "believe all woman" train just cause it is someone I do not like.

After I launched Rage Against The War Machine, I was placed on a Ukrainian enemies list linked to the US State Dept and some obscure Ukrainian kill list. The Ukraine and Russian LP both had members scream at me on a group call of international Libertarian Parties. One woman was so triggered, she was "literally shaking" and said she had to get off the call and take her medication. It was unhinged. Of course, my position was that I wished them the best of luck but I didn't want the USA to fund their war. They found that incredibly offensive. (Similar situation and position to what's going on with Iran) The whole world feels entitled to the US Treasury and to our political process.

In 1797, John Rollo, a British Army surgeon, had a diabetic patient passing sugar in his urine. He put him on meat and fat. The sugar disappeared. The patient recovered. Rollo published it. For the next hundred years, low-carbohydrate diets were the standard clinical treatment for diabetes. In the textbooks. In the hospitals. What doctors actually did. In 1916, Frederick Allen opened a clinic at the Rockefeller Institute. No insulin existed yet. He kept diabetic patients alive on near-zero carbohydrate. Some survived long enough to receive insulin when it arrived in 1921. The diet bought them years they otherwise wouldn't have had. Then insulin arrived. And the diet became inconvenient. If you could inject insulin to handle blood sugar, you didn't need to restrict carbohydrates. The drug had a manufacturer. The diet had neither. In the 1950s, Elliott Joslin, the most influential diabetologist in America, began quietly softening the carbohydrate restriction that had defined diabetic care for 150 years. In 1977, the McGovern guidelines told the entire American public to reduce fat and eat more carbohydrate. Diabetics were not exempted. By the 1980s, the American Diabetes Association was recommending fifty to sixty percent of calories from carbohydrate for diabetic patients. Fifty to sixty percent. For a condition defined by the inability to regulate blood sugar. The prescriptions went up. The insulin doses went up. The complications went up. The pharmaceutical companies filed quarterly earnings that would make a small country uncomfortable. In 2008, the ADA acknowledged that low-carbohydrate diets could be appropriate. As an option. In a footnote. After thirty years of recommending the opposite. In 2019, Virta Health published a two-year trial. Low-carbohydrate diet. Type 2 diabetes reversed. Not managed. Reversed. The same outcome Rollo documented in 1797. In 2023, Diabetes UK quietly updated its guidance to acknowledge low-carbohydrate eating as valid. Two hundred and twenty-six years after Rollo published the case report. Extraordinary pace of progress.

Yall going too hard on people that TRIED political coalition building with the GOP. I was one of them. Some worked and are willing to work with Dems, Republicans, Independents, etc to course correct. So NOW, those of us who’ve been critical and loud about the rug pull…. Are being attacked online like we didn’t operate in good faith and got played. At the same time you yell at us… You’re also yelling at Trump sycophants for not calling out his obvious 180 on key issues. So you’re in essence bitching at both without presenting a solution or unity moving forward. Cut that stupid shit out. WE moved on good faith, with hope of unifying around issues that MANY Americans were in opposition to. The people WHO LIED are the problem going forward, not us who were genuine.

@Mentats11 @RealAngelaMc Part of the plan obviously needs to take this into account. Chip away at it to continue to build support. Factor in how to de-risk

Scenario: You have a 70 year plan to reduce the federal gov't by 70% and make it libertarian. It cannot be done in less than 60 years. What are you doing for the first 4 years?

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 31, 2026 Thousands to Gather at Third "Rage Against the War Machine" Rally in Grand Rapids to Demand: No War with Iran — Honor America First Promises GRAND RAPIDS, MI — On Sunday, May 24, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, thousands will converge at the DeVos Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan — the same venue hosting the Libertarian National Convention — for the third Rage Against the War Machine rally. Attendees will demand an immediate end to the war in Iran and a firm national commitment to no more wars. Many participants view themselves as core members of the broad coalition that helped elect President Trump and supported Tulsi Gabbard (a speaker at the first Rage Against the War Machine rally) for Director of National Intelligence. That coalition’s support for the current administration has now fractured in response to the war with Iran, which they see as a major broken campaign promise. Key demands and messages at the rally will include: ● Say no to the Iran war ● President Trump must honor his campaign promises of “no new wars” and America First ● This war is destroying the coalition that brought Trump to power ● Remove advisors who pushed for this war ● No war for resources or pipelines ● No U.S. troops on the ground in Iran ● Honor the troops who have died by preventing more deaths ● No more regime change wars ● Return to a true America First foreign policy ● Opposing war does not mean supporting violent foreign regimes — it means putting the lives and interests of Americans first ● Let Israel fight its own battles "I’m not going to start a war. I’m going to stop wars." — Donald Trump, Election Night Victory Speech, November 2024 Speakers, veterans, musicians, and coalition leaders will address the crowd, including @DanMcKnight30 of @DefendTheGuard, author and senior editor of @Antiwarcom @scotthortonshow, and @AaronRDay. More speakers and entertainers are being added daily. This coalition event is sponsored by the Mises Caucus. @RageAgainstWar_ is a non-violent, peaceful rally. Weapons are not prohibited in the venue.

For the last few years, we have dedicated our energy to shifting American foreign policy away from these disastrous wars. We had a promise from President Trump during his campaign: No new wars The coalition that believed in America First must reaffirm the President's promise. The Peace movement must unite. War with Iran crosses the line... again. Rage Against the War Machine 3.0 Grand Rapids, MI, May 24

@FightWithMemes If "soldier stuff" means being sacrificial pawns for the aggressors in the latest imperial war of choice, we should all pray for more soldiers to become conscientious objectors.

@ConceptualJames We have a woman in the LP who behaves exactly like her: cycles through factions, burns everyone, tons of drama, cruel, no sense of boundaries. She's mostly hated by all libertarians now.... yet most libertarians love Candace Owens. I don't get how they fail to see it.
