On 07/31/2024, several @SFAPD staff served as jurors for the summertime Youth Career Academy (YCA) Mock Trial, where each youth portrayed an assigned role, ie. District Attorney, Public Defender, defendant, etc, alongside Supervising Judge Fleming.

This appointment marks a special homecoming for both him and us, as Jeremy began his career with @SFAPD 25 years ago, laying the foundation for his remarkable journey. Please join us in welcoming Assistant Chief Jeremy Valverde to our team!

On August 2, 2024, the Honorable Eric R. Fleming swore in our new Assistant Chief Probation Officer, Jeremy Valverde.

#CAProbation is comprised of highly skilled and trained professionals, county departments are proficient in trauma-informed care, emotional intelligence, cognitive behavioral therapy, and strength-based approaches which help address the root causes of crime for those we serve.
