There's many reasons why Endometriosis needs to be it's own speciality. Endometriosis can grow on ANY organ of the human body, it can appear in over 150 different colours, shapes and sizes. Removing Endometriosis properly is complex surgery and needs properly trained surgeons. Untill this happens women are often left worse off after surgery many needing multiple surgeries which only creates more risks and more adhesions.
