Two suspects from Ga-Mashashane were arrested by Polokwane police after they were found near Tom Naude Park in possession of a bundle of electric cables, along with tools including a hacksaw and a knife. The pair allegedly intended to steal or tamper with infrastructure but were apprehended before they could benefit from their actions. Witnesses reported that the suspects were found lying on the pavement at the scene, where police moved in and took them into custody. They are now facing charges of tampering with essential infrastructure as well as possession of suspected stolen property, as authorities continue efforts to clamp down on cable theft and infrastructure-related crime in the area.

Police officers are hired as bodyguards. South African law fails to adequately educate government employees on their responsibilities. What are you calling this?

Sooner than later, Johannesburg will be exactly the same as Zimbabwe. The only thing that is different is there is still tar roads, sooner they will break bridges for steel within them but nooo.........the @MYANC of #CyrilRamaphosa & #MbalulaFikile sees nothing wrong with that and strongly believe the #ANC will will rise up again. I swear there is an intentional move to destroy South Africa since 2020 which was the year we saw this upswing in vandalism of train stations & railroads - serious steel here 🥺🥺, then followed by cable theft which is super expensive infrastructure, and them followed streetlights & traffic lights - we know the syndicates & in 99.99% a perpetrator is caught it's usually Zimbabweans in all these mentioned crime aforesaid. Yes once in a while will be a South African or a Malawian or a Mozambiqueans but the specialists are Zimbabweans !! Why is the #ANC Govt. not doing anything about this - simply because the man in charge has interests & has long been feeding off his family through money from Zimbabwe Gold Mine which his wife owned, Anglo American Platinum ( Now Valterra Platinum ) & Sibanye Stillwater. We are having our country destroyed all for the massaging & securing of his personal interests NOT the country at large. Mzansi we are under siege from within ⚠️⚠️⚠️🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨
Slaughter.@BafanaSurprise

Vandalism is common in South Africa, mainly in Gauteng Province. I highly doubt this vandalism is carried by ordinary People, it is a syndicate used to milk money from the metros.
