I noticed two SA born players in the Germany side which got thumped by Georgia today. Andrew Reintges and Sebastian Ferreira. Reintges played tight head prop at school in 2016 while Ferreira was the WP Craven Week lock in 2012.

As a former 1st division player, I 100% agree. This doesn’t mean there are only 4 teams, it means the “next best level” is varsity cup and club rugby.
1st Division is trash these days, a top 4 union would be silly to loan a player to a 1st division side, player won’t get better
