Admiral Paparo just put the Softwar thesis on Senate record: “Bitcoin shows incredible potential as a computer science tool… through the proof of work protocols… as a power projection.” He called it a “peer-to-peer zero trust transfer of value” that supports “all instruments of national power.” Exactly what @JasonPLowery predicted. Two weeks ago I broke down the MIT paper + why Bitcoin treasury companies (Strategy, Metaplanet, SWC) are early strategic infrastructure: Full article here: x.com/divby21/status… Proof-of-work just became national security doctrine.

The first time they vandalized Satoshi's statue in Lugano, it was restored Kintsugi-style after a few months, and it made the highlights again, with a second inauguration, and placed in a more central spot of the city.💩 Now they vandalized it again, making its next restoration newsworthy, and increasing its visibility even more.😂 This is a perfect representation of Bitcoin: state institutions can't protect property from attackers, but anti-fragile ideas and networks will only grow stronger from any attack!💪

@RichardHanania Nope, poor and handicapped is fine. Gay is no bueno and probably more likely to be abused IMO.

People who are anti-surrogacy dislike gays and pretend it's about kids. If they thought kids in non-ideal situations shouldn't be born, they'd want to stop the poor, handicapped, etc from having children. That's how you know their concerns are fake. richardhanania.com/p/anti-surroga…

The claim that aluminum lakes (pill colorant) in benzo/SSRI pills add *any* meaningful neurotoxicity or drive Alzheimer's (or prolonged withdrawal) is untrue There are zero peer-reviewed studies or credible sources linking trace aluminum from pill colorants to Alzheimer's. Come on
Clark Engelbert@MetalsBrah

I know it’s a bit presumptuous to say but I do believe your father is dealing with something that I also dealt with, in a very personal sense. I too was on benzos for many years. I was prescribed them for 5 years in my twenties for panic disorder. I did a rapid taper off them in 2012 at a medical facility, where I was closely monitored and put on phenobarbital to prevent seizures. I also rapid-tapered off the SSRI I had been on at that same time, as well. I am acutely aware of the horror of withdrawing and dealing with the long-term consequences of these “medicines.” My life for the next two years was destroyed by post acute withdrawal from both. These drugs present their own horrific consequences to one’s neurological system by destroying GABA receptor sensitivity but they also contain the toxic metal aluminum in the form of coloring agents called aluminum lakes. This metal is, of itself, highly neurotoxic and responsible for the autism and Alzheimer’s disease epidemics. Now I know you might say he doesn’t have those things but aluminum has the capacity to cause a variety of neurological conditions, not just Alzheimer’s and autism because of its reactivity and capacity to initiate inflammation and ROS. He may need to deal with the aluminum toxicity (subclinical) that he has to fully heal from the damage of the benzos. I run a health consulting service that deals uniquely with this toxic metal. It may be worth investigating for him.

It is morally corrupt to allow gay couples to purchase a baby. Paying money to a woman to birth a child for the sole purpose of playing house and coddling their own feelings completely negates the natural rights of the child to having a mother and a father. Single parenthood unfortunately happens, but it’s never the goal. Most humans are born into a heterosexual relationship/family. Just because a tiny majority of the population wants to play by their own rules with human lives to make themselves feel good doesn’t mean we should go along with it.

The anti-gay surrogacy movement is logically incoherent. Kids do not have a “right” to a mother and a father. To justify this you’d have to argue that single parent-hood should be illegal, which is a reductio ad absurdum. It’s fine to say that in an ideal world every child has both a mother and a father, but that is not the world in which we live. A child with two male or two female parents cannot logically be “worse off” than a child with a single male or single female parent. Does the addition of a second mother or second father make the child worse off than if they had only one parent? How so? They have double the supporting income. Double the parental attention. Double the parental resources. And such a child also cannot possibly be worse off than being in foster care or an abusive home, or, in the case of surrogacy, not to exist at all. The perfect example of letting the perfect be the enemy of the good.
Matt Walsh@MattWalshBlog

Gay surrogacy and gay adoption are predicated on the idea that gay men (or women) have a “right” to become parents. This idea is not only morally insane but also logically incoherent. It’s exactly like jumping off a building and claiming that you have the right to fly. Nobody has the right to defy the laws of nature. Where would such a right even originate? Two men cannot be parents. It’s impossible. Doesn’t matter how they feel or what they want. It cannot be. The only “right” at issue here is the right of the child. And the child has a right to be raised by a mother and a father, not two men masquerading as mother and father.
