@real_catto sounds like "I dont care about trackpads, so I will bitch about the price of the controller where the main feature are the trackpads" I use the Dualsense more than my Ult2 because of it

@GameOrDie007 It was very frustrating. What was suppose to be a quick build has turned into a week of troubleshooting. But on the bright side I may have an extra cpu/mobo/ram combo now to make another little build. So yay!

Update on this one. Came in. Didn't boot. Did like 6hrs of work around. Reset the bios. Did the one ram stick. Just to find out the hmdi port on my gpu doesnt work. It boots and all ram slots work. So yay! I feel very silly.
BlindPsychopath@Slayerkiller537

Yeah just bought an gigabyte z170 and i5 6400 with 8gbs of ram for $75. Not bad. But was really wanting a 6700k or 7700k. But eh. Did confirm that it booted to bois 👍 Should be getting it soon and maybe fully built on Thursday

@GAMERTAGVR No, the original costed $50. This adds like 3 tiny things to the new one. Imo not worth an extra $50. But, if it goes on a discount for $70-80 I'll pick it up then. I do think now the steam machine is going to be like $800-900 now though

@RealMarcFoxx The original steam controller costed $50. The new one cost $100 for an extra 2 back pedals, a grip sensor, and an extra stick. I don't think thats worth it for me and is a hard sell for many. Now if it was $80 I could understand it more. If it was $70, an instant buy.

If you're freaking out over a controller with all of these features costing $99, Well... You're either a cheapskate who buys cheap shit, or you don't know the controller market very well. x.com/RealMarcFoxx/s…
Marc Foxx@RealMarcFoxx

For all the "$99 is too expensive for a controller" people. The Steam Controller has premium controller features, like TMR sticks, 4 back buttons, two trackpads, gyro, HD haptics, extensive customization via software, etc. Compare to controllers with fewer features:

@TobiMidnight I actually like The Last Jedi. (Mostly) Everything till the Finn and Poe section. But after that it gets back to being good again

@justahaloguy Id love to see them in a game again cause no one has control over the domain and they should just be floating in space now like how Empty Throne describes it

-Story and writing are top-notch, some of the best in the series -Art design is really good but also clashes HARD with the previous games, creating weird dissonance -Level design is truly atrocious, campaign gameplay is generally awful -Multiplayer is fine but not Halo 4/10
Last Chalice@lastchalice

Halo 4. Give it a score from 1-10.

@TheIshikawaRin $100 for a controller? I thought for sure it would be $80 max. That kinda sucks and is a harder buy for me

@valvesoftware @Steam I'm looking forward to seeing how this works compared to the original. I found the original one to be pretty niche and only used it a handful of times.

@RealMarcFoxx The sticks and back buttons are on 3rd party controllers for like $30-40. Rechargeable as well. Where's the other $60 going? $100 is expensive. Now if it was $80 MAX I think that would be fine

@idonotexistelol Its usually little things like this or a quick google search can fix these issues. Im not saying you dont have to be patient. But I am saying is that there is a fix. But on console. You just gotta hope it doesnt crash or freeze

@Slayerkiller537 I don't have any of these issues you listed so that's interesting. I had game crashes and freezes on 5 different steam games which is when I just went back to main consoles

With pc gaming you need a certain level of patience it's why I mainly play consoles. I can't remember the last time I had an issue on any of my consoles whereas literally 30mins ago I had a driver crash on my pc lol
Synth Potato🥔@SynthPotato

I don't know if I just have bad luck, but PC gaming has become such a pain for me that I just picked up AC Rogue so I can play it at 60FPS on PC and the game crashes on boot-up no matter what I try. Genuinely has me wishing I had an Xbox Series X for the FPS boost to old games.

@idonotexistelol But I did eventually get the games working either by a community patch or a program (specifically Prototype ya gotta disable cores on your CPU) that makes it launch and not crash, Or a stupid one like Borderland GOTY edition where you have to change the .exe file to launcher
