@DanielleFong I just don’t see that as being plausible anytime soon (like in my lifetime) We have the means to feed everyone in the world, today. Yet people are still starving to death Even once we’re past true scarcity, the bigger issue will be getting beyond artificial scarcity

the craziest way a pokemon game was ever beaten back in 2014, an anonymous programmer launched a wild social experiment on twitch by streaming a version of pokemon red controlled entirely by the chat. anyone watching could control red by simply typing commands like “up”, “down”, “a”, “b”, “start”, etc. as a result, tens of thousands of viewers collectively decided every single move and decision. because of a heavy input delay (often 20–30 seconds) and over 120,000 people fighting for control at peak times, absolute chaos ensued. red would spend hours walking in circles, opening the menu randomly, and struggling with even the simplest obstacles. this forced the creator to introduce “democracy mode,” where the most popular command over a short period would win. many players hated this change, viewing it as a betrayal of the pure anarchy, and protested by spamming “start9” to constantly open and close the menu, effectively freezing progress. things got even worse during the infamous “bloody sunday.” while trying to use the pc, the crowd accidentally released 12 of their own pokemon forever. despite all the setbacks, the viewers somehow managed to reach the elite four and defeat blue to become the pokemon champion after 16 days, 7 hours, and 45 minutes of nonstop play.

@phoenixngurru If it doesn’t have numbers is there a setting that says ‘delicate’ or ‘less dry’ those will be slower and hence quieter You may need to do 1.5 or 2 times the overall drying time as the faster it goes the quicker it drys But I prefer slower and quieter
