Spotify and Universal Music Group have announced a licensing deal that will let Spotify Premium users create AI-generated covers and remixes of songs from participating artists and songwriters. The upcoming tool will launch as a paid add-on and is designed to let artists and songwriters earn money from licensed fan-made AI covers and remixes. Spotify says the model is built around “consent, credit, and compensation.”

@Slim_Sizzle i only can do these tricks because my fundamentals are really good - not just beatmatching, but also being able to intuitively lock into how a mix is gonna sound (swing, percussion, melodic)
