There's no secret to the Cubs' struggles right now. Bregman needs to be better. Dansby needs to be better. Seiya needs to be better. The pitching needs to be better. It's just pure underperformance of their expectations entering the season, especially when it comes to hitting.

The Cubs need to fire jed hoyer and their entire front office and write a blank check to the Tampa Bay Rays' front office. Their scouting and development of prospects, especially pitchers, is elite. The Cubs have been very bad at that for years. A complete overhaul is needed.
