@calgarytransit There are two things I can rely on the Ctrain for. Being late for work along with being late getting home. Second time in a week I have paid my fare and then found alternate transportation.

@FriedQuesadilla @DKTPH @calgarytransit The fact that this is not the first time this has occurred here is the issue. My frustration is both personal and systemic. Why is it that the city cannot mitigate the hazards associated with that location and others.

@DKTPH @calgarytransit @Strangway A high-schooler from OLR got hit by a Tuscany-Bound Train at Heritage so they shut the station down to allow police, EMS, and the fire department to access the scene.

#CTRiders #RedLine trains are no longer single tracking at Heritage, Southland, and Chinook.

@SeanAaronPierce @calgarytransit This is not the first time that this has happened at these locations and it won’t be the last. This city has avoided any mitigation to increase the safety of the train system in specific areas and should be held accountable. My frustration is both personal and systemic.

@Strangway @calgarytransit Dude, I get that Calgary Transit isn’t perfect by any means (to this day, c-train admission system is flawed). But what happened today in NW and S was not their fault. 2 fatal incidents occured at respective locations that caused these interruptions.

@calgarytransit You have now dumped multiple southbound trains at Victoria park and it is next to impossible to get on a train south from here. Hundreds waiting on the platform. How about dumping a northbound train or two to alleviate the mess here.

@calgarytransit @cityofcalgary @CalgaryPolice It was about an hour ago. I was able to get off immediately no clue what the train car was. Not that this information would be pertinent in any capacity as it is highly reactive. Damage already done. Proactive measures that make transit a safe mode of transportation is preferred.
