My annual reminder at Combine/measurement.
Measurement in a planned situation is different from actual performance during in-game.
Skyfall@polarfall
Draft day reminder. Combine stats are reference and is separate from actual manifestation. for exam -CODS and RA are 2 independent skill domains that define agility CODS : change of direction speed in a preplanned condition RA : reactive agility in an unplanned condition

Jarrett Allen frame with 10x the lateral agility and some of the best age-adjusted production/feel relative to size let’s not overthink this
Jonathan Givony@DraftExpress
Kentucky's Jayden Quaintance measured 6'9 barefoot and 253 pounds at the NBA Draft Combine, with a 7'5.25 wingspan and 9'1 standing reach. Quaintance grew an inch over the past two years and has extremely impressive dimensions for an NBA big man.

@buckets_BCM Yes, very much so. I was actually going to ask your opinion on that bc you’d know way better than me

@SwingSkill Any concerns over the injury history? I admittedly have PTSD

When I talk about "the layup gene," this is what I mean. Some players just have this level of proprioception, some don't

Reggie Miller was left amazed by Dylan Harper!

AJ Dybantsa vs. Clemson
28 points (9/17 FG) | 1/2 3pt | 9/10 FT)
9 rebounds
6 assists
3 turnovers
34 minutes
Special second half from Dybantsa - superstar-level performance against a good Clemson team.
Dybantsa's in-game process has improved the last couple years, and as it continues to get better, it will only further weaponize his physical advantages.
Dybantsa's long strides and sturdy base*** make him very difficult to stop when he decides he wants to get to a spot on the floor. He's shooting 51.6% on non-rim twos with 77.6% of those attempts being unassisted. Similarly, he's finishing 73.9% of his rim attempts with 76.5% of them unassisted.
***I think Dybantsa's core strength and balance can and will improve.
Later in the second half after hitting multiple difficult jumpers, Dybantsa found teammates for easy baskets when the help-side defense cheated closer to him - a key skill needed to be a primary offensive engine in the NBA.
When engaged on defense, he leverages his length and lateral mobility to smother ball handlers, though the effort is inconsistent.
An overall concern is the lack of stock creation, especially against high-level competition. Dybantsa is only posting 0.7 block% and 1.7 steal% against top-100 teams. Stock creation is a good proxy for athleticism and feel/IQ/processing.
Dybantsa is a clear top-three prospect in the 2026 NBA Draft.

Caleb Wilson vs. Florida St.
22 points (9/15 FG | 0/1 3pt | 4/5 FT)
16 rebounds
6 assists
2 turnovers
2 blocks
36 minutes
Wilson's performance against FSU is one of the most impressive prospect games of the cycle to date.
He can grab and go off defensive rebounds where Wilson is a more than capable passer and ball handler in transition. He's one of five high major freshman with a 20+ DReb% and 10+ OReb%.
Wilson doesn't attempt many threes, but there are indicators to suggest he'll one day be someone defenses have to respect from three, converting 41.3% of his non-rim twos on a majority unassisted diet and shooting nearly 70% on FTs.
He leads the country with 52 dunks and finishes 70.8% of his attempts at the rim.
Defensively, Wilson can genuinely defend 1-4 and in time with added strength could defend some 5s. He spent a good portion of the game defending FSU's point guard. Wilson is the only high-major freshman with a 4+ block% and 2.5+ steal%.
Wilson's game process is advanced beyond where most freshman forwards usually are. There aren't many holes to poke in his game.
He's firmly a top 5 prospect for me, and he's closer to the top three than he is six.

@SwingSkill TI playstyle is fast pace.. Caleb fits that more that booze in my opinion
English

@MemphisReborn Wondered about that, but that’s fine. Peterson is #2 for me so I’d be happy to take him
English

@SwingSkill x.com/pranavsriraman…
Not sure if Boozer makes it past Utah after seeing that his dad works for the scouting team..

@SwingSkill Him and Edey my brother Chip i said it was destined
English

@riggs1332 Boozer and Wilson were teammates once. It wasn’t close who was the better player and it wasn’t close in college either. No disrespect to Wilson, he’s great. I’m a big fan, but Boozer clears
English

@SwingSkill Wilson is a freak who can make plays off the dribble and defend at the rim showing signs of a jump shot, boozer could have trouble against nba bigs with his limitations athletically. Wilson has the potential to be a generational talent where boozer does not.
English

@SwingSkill It’s not too… would be a huge mistake drafting boozer over Wilson…
English

@SwingSkill Yea your hobby at talkin basketball terrible. Look at Wilson and boozer match up let me know kid
