@markgurman I've been using AI for three years and I said at the beginning Apple was a long way behind and everyone said, oh no, they're just slow on the uptake, they'll produce something better. No, they're behind and they're going to stay behind because they haven't invested in AI, R&D.

Besides the iOS 26.4 Siri and iOS 27 chatbot Siri, Apple has been working on several other AI features including a revamped Safari to compete with OpenAI and Perplexity and several in-app chatbot experiences. Those are both in flux. bloomberg.com/news/newslette…
