In this TruthSocial, President Trump at first lashes out at Israel for attacking the North Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf, but then threatens to destroy the entire gas field if Iran retaliates. That makes literally no sense whatsoever!
Israel launched an attack, that not only hurt Iran, but Qatar and Iraq. For the United States to then say, if Iran retaliates, the United States will destroy the field utterly – harming Qatar and Iraq, even more, not to mention the global gas supply – is irrational to the extreme.
Hopefully, this was just a late night rant and will not result in any action.
