Most of what we see and hear during elections are part of the vicious political game that politicians play to persuade voters. It gets ugly, but once it’s over it has always been the American way that you shake hands, exchange, “ Wow, you really jabbed me a good one,” then you brush it off and move forward, still having your differences on politics, but cordial for the good of the country. It has nothing to do with race or gender, but everything with being a United country. The leaders must be the example for the people to follow. All past Presidents have been granted this respect except for Donald Trump all because he was not a politician but came in and beat Hillary at first try.
