Seyi Makinde has one particular skill he has mastered, and I’ll honestly give it to him. The act of populism.
He’ll promise people something, even go as far as showing them the roadmap in 3D. People will start praising and commending him. After enjoying that moment, he’ll quietly withdraw the promise.
That reminds me of when he came to Ogbomoso. He went straight to Surulere and Ogo-Oluwa Local Government and promised them Botswana maize deal. Farmers started hailing him and hoping for it.
Till this very moment, 7 years later, we still haven’t seen any Botswana maize deal 😂😂

This is disingenuous lie from a place of hypocrisy and maybe ignorance.
The streetlights were temporarily powered by generators pending moving to the mini-solar grid. The reason why some are off is that they have been disconnected and are being joined to the grid.
The light up project was never meant to run on diesel, the diesel was used to test functionality temporarily.
He has said it severally that individual solar streetlights don’t last like the ones powered from a central grid. We all see this in our houses how individual panel to light doesn’t last unlike using inverter and batteries.
