@OllieHolt22 We haven’t won anything in almost 60 yrs so if we aren’t going to win anything for the next 60, it would be good to be entertained. Ignoring Southgate’s awful in game management, England’s general style of play (not just tournament football) was an eyesore.

Looking forward to sitting back and watching the England men’s team win the next three major tournaments on the spin now that everyone’s decided the only reason we didn’t win the last three was because of Southgate

After the disaster with Hodgson in 2014 (Southgate wouldn’t have got us out the group) & Iceland in 2016, the PR disaster of Big Sam, the FA wanted a safe pair of hands. Fortunate to have been given more than 2 tournaments, £5M a yr too 🫣
