Mille my beautiful wife is 6 years sober today! Unbelievably proud of her. Finishing a masters degree at Cambridge University, having our daughter Penelope and now doing her PHD since then❤️ We need to normalize the conversation around mental health and alcohol/substance use, as they are so closely correlated. Many others including my self got in when we were in our 20/30’s. Absolutely ridiculous when the real Big hitter sports have people with stellar careers get in when they are in their mid 40’s or 50’s. It should be something that is earned through decades of work and reputation. Don’t get me wrong I’m proud to be in it but it seems like a given if you have a half decent career, which it is not meant to be about that imo

@Nick_Metcalfe The spirit of the event was to give the guys who are at the back end of their careers or retired to have half a chance at some decent money. Tough one because having huge names will help with sponsorship etc

I’m not massively fancying a snooker debate right now. But I find myself feeling duty bound to say I don’t think Ronnie O’Sullivan should play in the Seniors. Various top snooker people disagree with me and that’s fine too. But it doesn’t feel in the spirit of the event to me.

Should snooker introduce a Ryder Cup style team event to the calendar, such as GB & Ireland v Rest of the World? John Higgins, Shaun Murphy and several other stars told us it's a no brainer...

@TSnooker102 2018 I think was the best. In terms of overall standard it was Ronnie and Hawkins in 2013. The level Barry played at would have won in so many other years. Higgins Ronnie final in 2001 was really good too

I haven't seen all World finals in full, but nonetheless I'm saying this was the best World final ever. 85, 94 and 02 had more dramatic deciders, but the way this year's finalists were able to perform under pressure after both inflicting and taking huge blows was remarkable...

Wow what a final session! Awesome bottle from both players. Wu was probably 1/10 of a millimetre from going out in the semis. Played so brave all tournament and is a worthy winner 🏆 I would also like to make a special mention to my self for winning shot of the championship😂🏆

@SnookerNStuff In the UK they have been really good this season especially the really big comps. China is pretty much where the issue lies. Different fitters out there

Considering the pockets are supposedly templated, what is the solution to making them consistent? Speaking as a spectator and amateur player I find it hard to realise why they can't make the pockets consistent across tournaments. Thsi is something I would really love to understand!
