if you keep asking for heat to be removed you dead just do not fuck with the game at all. WHILE I DO AGREE heat as a whole should actually be toined down, it's too integral to the game for it to be flat out removed. We do need at significantly nerf heat

@DeTw0uR Tekken is different because the system mechanics aren’t what’s holding Tekken back at all. Heat is interesting and adds flare to the game.
The issue is balance, movement, and some things involving heat that can be 100% changed or toned down.

Something a bit obnoxious about the sudden conversation around VF and DOA having movement is that peeps have overlooked the actual difference between these games and Tekken, which is that the appeal of VF and DOA is how they're tightly designed around their triangle systems

I cannot Korean Backdash in VF or DOA. The gameplay that I find unappealing in T8 is not fixed by playing VF. For the movement and spacing game I want to play, the next best alternative was probably SSBM. @alcratz's R.U.S.H. has taken that spot now. The 1 hour I played was the most fun I've had in FGs in forever.

People treat fighting games like a numbers game too much that it feels like no one plays by feel anymore. It’s always “how do i set up the safe jump” or “how can i set up a frame kill for plus frames” Not everything needs a set up. Learn how to improv instead.

the difference between the system changes and the character related ones is so wild, all the system ones are good imo (outside of them not accounting for 1st hit whiffed heatsmash wallsplats) yet the character ones are a complete 180
feels like there's 2 different teams working

I won't be discontinuing the Tekken Library, however the updates will be slower than last time.
Thankfully, my Tekken Library is no longer the only easy-to-digest resource all there, and I highly recommend you guys check out and support @tekkendocs and @wavuwiki.
