My CEO asked if I wanted to see the dome in Abuja at night. I said, no thank you. They had just paid salary but they didn't pay everything. As he was leaving, he told me accounts had something for me. I went to accounts, they gave me my balance and asked "why are you leaving us?"

What’s the pettiest reason you’ve been fired/quit from a job?

@iScienceLuvr Putting “Ph.D.” in your social media name is a sure sign of a pompous retard

@Osi_Suave Shut up... if wisdom dies with you it's just useless. Progress and outcome is part of the journey. You won't see tweet like this who shows off real bad. but this is not show off, it's proof the Lord has done it

You live in Nigeria and you are risking your life like this.

@Declectic No I mean, that honestly wasn’t enough reason to get sacked 😂😂
It’s actually funny when you think about it.

In Korea, due to the high level of trust and security, there are self service shops with no attendants. You simply pick what you want and pay with your card.

I have a friend who used to skip lectures during our university days to join smugglers driving cars across the border into Nigeria, bypassing customs checkpoints on the way to Ado Ekiti. He would often narrate how customs officers sometimes opened f!re on them. He came close to d£ath several times, yet somehow survived every encounter.
After graduation, we all went our separate ways. He returned to his hometown in Ife-Wara, Osun where he ventured into charcoal production. Many nights were spent deep in the bush burning wood to produce charcoal. During that period, he also had another near-death experience after being bitten by a snake, but he survived again.
Shortly after recovering, his visa to the United States was approved, and he relocated there to hustle with determination and resilience. One day, he showed a small act of kindness to a white man who worked in one of the top government ministries in Arizona. The man gave him his card and told him to call on the 15th day of the next three months.
When he finally called, the man asked what kind of help he needed. He assisted him in obtaining a license permit that allowed him to ship cars from the U.S. to Nigeria without hassles, and he did it without collecting a dime.
Today, he competes with companies like Coscharis Motors as one of the biggest car importers into Nigeria. Imagine someone who once spent nights dodging bullets while smuggling cars from Cotonou to Ado Ekiti just to pay school fees now flying business class from the U.S. to different countries around the world.
When he visited Nigeria and came to my place, he narrated how thousands of dollars flow into his account without him even keeping track of where some payments came from. That is how drastically life can change.
Just keep moving. A moving man will always meet his luck.
Tough seasons are not permanent, and sometimes one opportunity, one relationship, or one act of kindness can completely transform a person’s life trajectory.

@Michael00905301 @SteveNdukwu You can’t comprehend statements before dropping a comment? 😭

@SteveNdukwu This was not your previous stand. I don't think there are any airlines that will not allow you to use your phone. The instruction is that, you need to put your phone in flight mode, whenever the flight is ascending or descending, after the, you can do whatever u want ur gadgets

Omo realest talk
My secretary office caught fire and other people were busy going in doing eye service, I just told her it’s well, show little concern and never go back to the office side.
All of a sudden she came to my office telling my other colleagues that went for eye service saying now she knows people who like her in this company and I’m not involved.

I was sacked after I told a Nigerian MD, "respectfully Ma, please don't talk to me in that tone."
They set up a "disciplinary committee" shortly after that statement, and sacked me 2 days later.
These things fester because people are too cowardly.

You attend those Exco meetings and witness your direct line manager being treated like a peasant. Those guys are brutal.
