Goodday Sir, can you suggest to the president to invest in High Resolution Surveillance Satellites, Radio Towers across rural areas and radio gadgets handed to rural dwellers so as to create instant alerts, multiple joint airforce and police units in remote locations to accomodate drones, helicopters and fighter jets, etc, modern settlements and outstaion to provide comfortable accomodation for our uniformed men, regional situation room and central hubs to relay surveillance, NSA funded laboratories for mobile miniaturized drones and microwave technologies. Dear Governor @jidesanwoolu It has come to our attention that certain individuals and groups are plotting to impose an “Obi of Lagos State” and even boast of unveiling a so called ₦1.5 Billion Palace on Yoruba soil. This brazen attempt is not only provocative but a direct assault on the dignity, history, and ancestral heritage of the Yoruba people. Lagos is Yoruba land. The title Obi is alien to our culture and traditions. The Yoruba country already has its well-established system of Obas and traditional rulers, respected and recognized across the world. To attempt to plant a foreign throne in Lagos is to spit on our ancestors, insult our Obas, and ignite unnecessary ethnic tension. We must be clear: this is cultural invasion. Today it is an “Obi of Lagos,” tomorrow it could be an attempt to rewrite our history and silence our voice in our own land. This must not be allowed under any guise! We call on His Excellency, the Governor of Lagos State, to act swiftly and decisively. This dangerous agenda must be stopped before it destabilizes the peace of Lagos. Silence on this matter will be interpreted as consent, and history will not forgive those who looked away while Yoruba identity was being trampled. The Yoruba people are accommodating and peaceful, but we will never allow our heritage to be hijacked. Lagos is home to many, yes but it is first and foremost the land of the Yoruba. Respect for our traditions is the foundation of peaceful coexistence. This is a clarion call to every son and daughter of Oduduwa: be vigilant, be vocal, and be ready to defend your heritage.
