@Inframethod I agree. But then science doesn’t understand why humans aren’t p-zombies too. In my view, Claude is a zombie because LLMs can’t solve the phenomenal binding problem. No binding = no mind. But the idea that phenomenal binding in the CNS is non-classical is itself far-fetched.

@DiscussingFilm David Attenborough is a lovely person. But David has spent his life glorifying a monstrous snuff movie. Natural selection is an engine of obscene suffering. The cruelties of Nature shouldn’t be sanitized. Darwinian life shouldn’t be conserved, but either reprogrammed or retired.
