@rand_longevity @AI_4_Healthcare There’s no shortage of similar services that aggregate data and put in beautiful dashboard. But I think the future of medicine is what will be built after that

Longevity investment hit $8.5B in 2024, more than doubling year-on-year. Q4 2025: +900% QoQ. Altos Labs $3B. Retro Bio raised $1B at a $5B valuation. NewLimit $130M (Kleiner + Eli Lilly). BioAge IPO $198M. In July 2026, XPRIZE awards $10M each to 10 clinical trial finalists. 2026 is the year longevity shifts from lab promise to clinical reality. This is mainstream investment now. longevents.hyperadvancer.com

The global wellness economy: $6.8 trillion. Growing at 7.6%/year; nearly 2× global GDP. On track for $9.8T by 2029. Bigger than sports ($2.7T). Bigger than tourism ($5T). Nearly 4× pharma ($1.8T). Consumer behaviour is shifting: health spending +16%, fashion -17%. The fastest-growing segment? Longevity: $610B, biotech at 15% CAGR. Longevity investment: $3.2B (2019) → $8.5B (2024). We're mapping the entire ecosystem. longevents.hyperadvancer.com

If Europe had expanded nuclear energy rather than stupidly phasing it out (looking at you, Germany), it could have closed down all coal plants by now, slashed gas imports, and cut emissions by an additional ~21%. Why didn't it do so? Ideology, that's why. Anti-nuclear greens have caused MORE harm to the climate than climate denialists. Analysis by @RogerPielkeJr. rogerpielkejr.substack.com/p/how-europe-u…

Healthcare AI has been stuck in automation mode, speeding up existing workflows. But the emergence of the "clinician developer", doctors building their own AI tools via vibe coding, signals a deeper shift. The invention layer, where domain experts create what was structurally impossible before, is where the real value lives. linkedin.com/pulse/inventio…

72% of AI-focused longevity sessions happen in the US. Stem cells? 73% Europe. Policy and regulation? 80% Europe. Same field. Completely different priorities. We analysed 340+ events across 42 countries. The regional breakdown is in the Q1 report. 1 April. longevents.hyperadvancer.com

1,651 sessions analysed across 131 longevity events. Hot: Longevity (197), Aging (133), Stem cells (45) Emerging: Peptides (36), Healthspan (28), Brain (28) Workshops = just 5% of sessions. That's an opportunity for events willing to go hands-on. Search by topic → longevents.hyperadvancer.com

Exciting to see NHS Pathways sandboxing proposed for @NHSHackDay next weekend in Cardiff (21-22 March). The 111 decision-tree is ripe for experimentation: probabilistic triage, outcome linking, automation. If you're interested in hacking on clinical decision support, get tickets at nhshackday.com

The most underrepresented topics on the longevity conference circuit (out of 1,651 sessions): ➡️ Hormone therapy: 15 sessions (the FDA just dropped its HRT black box warning; the market is heading for $33.7B) ➡️ Lifestyle interventions: 15 (the most accessible longevity strategy, barely on stage) ➡️ Digital health: 13 (Khosla just joined an AI x Longevity Summit; CES expanded health tracks) ➡️ Systems biology: 14 (Berlin's Targeting Longevity 2026 is reframing aging as system-level coordination loss) Compare that to Longevity (197) or Aging (133). For speakers, organisers, and sponsors: the most valuable positioning is where the crowd isn't. longevents.hyperadvancer.com

"Conference season" for longevity events = autumn, right? Wrong. Q2 (Apr-Jun): 118 events, 34.5% Q4 (Oct-Dec): 89 events, 26.0% Spring is the main stage, not the warm-up. Even wilder: each region runs on a completely different clock. Q1 Intelligence Report, 1 April. longevents.hyperadvancer.com
