Try a low inflammation diet. Inflammation of the arteries causes damage, then cholesterol comes in to heal it. The cholesterol is not the problem, the inflammation is the problem. Low inflammation diet would be grass fed beef, pasture raised meats and pasture raised eggs, grass fed butter, grass fed dairy, wild fish and wild shellfish. Coconut oil, avocado oil and high quality olive oil are ok. Low carb veggies are ok. Blueberries are good, they have a lot of antioxidants and are low carb. Avoid lots of carbohydrates, grains, legumes and especially seed oils. Avoid grain fed meats and eggs. Take a high quality fish oil, amount depends on how well you follow the above guidelines. Curcumin or tumeric reduces inflammation. So does CBD and cannabis that contains a decent amount of CBD. Another good supplement is CoQ10.
