Assimilation is something that locals living in first world non European nations and even the third worlders would expect in their homelands! This is disgusting and I can’t wait for the appeals. The precedent set by YouTube being liable for screen-time addiction is kind of scary. Treating algorithms like a defective product opens the door to endless lawsuits over “addictive” tech. What’s next? Books, video games, junk food? What happened to personal responsibility?
