documenting my journey in the world of @bittensor and its subnets starts today. I am convinced that $tao is not only a leveraged bet on crypto & ai but it’s also a bet on humanity.

$ETH: Decentralized finance/apps $TAO: Decentralized AI and brainpower $BTC: Decentralized Store-of-Value That’s all you need. That’s all my son will need.

$TAO is still a life changing bet worth taking at current prices. 20x from here is my base case and appropriating roughly 30% of my $TAO into subnets such as @chutes_ai, @hippius_subnet, @ridges_ai and @gradients_ai will only further multiply the gains in the medium to long term. Only if people knew.

Just you wait. Kraken will be the go-to exchange for all things $TAO and its subnets.

@markjeffrey @KeithSingery This is what most people miss. It’s very different to buying ICOs with ETH — for people to buy erc20s, they had to actually SELL their eth. For subnets, you’re staking your TAO, not selling it. BIG DIFFERENCE.

When you 'buy' a subnet token using TAO, is that staking or trading? It's staking. You stake $TAO. You get a Subnet Token as a kind of 'coat check'. Now here's the clincher: IF that Subnet gets deregistered for poor performance, the subnet tokens *in your wallet* get remote-liquidated ALSO: you get TAO back (not much -- pennies on the dollar, since the subnet failed). Nothing you can do. It just happens. You wake up, your subnet tokens are gone, and a little bit of TAO that wasn't there before has appeared. Traded tokens don't get remote-liquidated. Coat-check tokens for staked $TAO do. That's what's different here.

Friendly reminder that you don’t have to diversify into dTAO. Staking $TAO in roots is probably more than enough in the long run.
