Tensions swelled at two competing rallies that had both pro-Israel and pro-Palestine supporters on different sides in Skokie, just outside of #Chicago.
A man fired shots (unknown whether in the air or at people) and was taken into custody in regards to the incident.

We are told there were shots fired on the 3400 block of W Touhy near the border with Chicago. This is the location of both a scheduled pro-Israel and pro-Palestine rally today. Droves of police have responded.

In his career with CPD, Sgt. Alex Wolinski earned 69 honorable mentions. By any objective standard, this is an exemplary record.
Wolinski executed a search warrant on the wrong home and was fired.
It was an honest error, not one committed of malice or cruelty. His firing is an injustice.
