CBS is desperate not to look like garbage. The 15,000 people who still watch their shitty network won't know that they are a month behind.
CBS News@CBSNews

The Merabi Professional Medical Plaza, a single three-story building in Los Angeles, is home to 89 licensed hospice companies and 72 of them raise red flags for possible fraud, a CBS News investigation found. CBS News’ @adamyamaguchi visited the building and asked the owner what he would do if any of his tenants were accused of fraud. And we were not the first to visit with questions. #losangeles #investigation

Not good. It will be blamed on us because we initiated the war. Pick your "friends" wisely. Qatar Energy CEO tells Reuters: Two out of 14 of our LNG trains and one out of two of our gas-to-liquids (gtl) facility were damaged in the attacks we will be losing 12.8 million tons per year of LNG for three to five years, around 17% of Qatar’s export LNG We may have to declare force majeure on long-term contracts for up to five years for LNG supplies to Italy, Belgium, Korea and China. bnnbloomberg.ca/business/2026/…

" we get less than 1% of our energy from the Strait of Hormuz, but to our European “allies” the Strait is critical and essential."
Owen Gregorian@OwenGregorian

UPDATE: NATO Countries Cave To President Trump, Now Pledge To Help Secure The Strait of Hormuz | Noah, 100 Percent Fed Up Because they’re never here for us, it’s a one -way street only. And in that report yesterday, I explained how President Trump does what he has done best his whole life, trap them in a “double bind”. The double bind is a genius move where you put your enemy in the unfortunate situation of needing to choose between two options, both of which are bad. In this case, the double bind asked our NATO “allies” to help us secure safe passageway through the Strait of Hormuz for all shipping vessels. Seems like a reasonable request, right? After all, we get less than 1% of our energy from the Strait of Hormuz, but to our European “allies” the Strait is critical and essential. So President Trump asked for their help and show of solidarity. And with that, the double bind was set, because at this point they have two options: Option A, grant President Trump what he asked for, and Trump wins. Option B, refuse to play ball, and prove that NATO is worthless and risk the USA pulling out entirely after you proved you will breach your obligations when needed most. In every double bind, there’s a bad choice and a really bad choice. In this case, the best decision they could have made was Option A, pitch in, show unity, get your oil and natural gas flowing again and move forward. But that would make Trump look good and their TDS simply could not allow that. So they chose Option B. Now, less than 24 hours later, it looks like at least six NATO “allies” have capitulated and are switching from Option B to Option A. You know, usually picking one option in a double bind is bad enough. You lick your wounds and you go forward. But you rarely get to see someone put their foot into BOTH traps of the double bind, but that’s what we just got here. Absolutely incredible! A double win for Trump! They exposed themselves and their true nature, then caved anyway! Reuters confirms the about-face: Leading nations in Europe said in a joint statement with Japan on Thursday they would take steps to stabilise energy markets and were ready to join “appropriate efforts” to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz. The statement from Britain, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Japan, condemned attacks by Iran and called on it to halt its actions immediately. It also said they would work with certain energy producing nations to increase output and stabilise markets. The Reuters Power Up newsletter provides everything you need to know about the global energy industry. Sign up here. “We express our readiness to contribute to appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the Strait,” the statement said. “We welcome the commitment of nations who are engaging in preparatory planning.” I will say this about Japan, they have been a true ally. Europe is worthless, but Japan has been a true friend, and continues to prove their friendship to the USA. President Trump just sent the bait to NATO, a huge trap — and they took it hook, line and sinker! For years, President Trump has wanted to leave NATO. We fund almost all of it, and we get absolutely nothing for it. So President Trump laid a trap — see if any NATO allies will join with us to secure the safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz. This also barely benefits us. But it benefits Europe. And Asia. And so he laid out the proposal: join with us to get this critical shipping pathway open. And because they are all so blinded by their hatred of President Trump, none agreed to help. But it was a classic double-bind by President Trump. The double-bind is when you put someone in a lose-lose (for them) and win-win (for you) situation. In this case, the countries could help us with the Strait, which would show strength and unity to the world and help us in keep the Strait safe and open (win for Trump) or they could refuse and open the door for us to leave NATO because it failed us when we asked for help (perhaps an even bigger win for Trump). They chose Option B and now they’re about to find out what happens next: Hook, line and sinker! Here is President Trump laying it out plain as day on his Truth Social: FULL TEXT FOR EASIER READING: The United States has been informed by most of our NATO “Allies” that they don’t want to get involved with our Military Operation against the Terrorist Regime of Iran, in the Middle East, this, despite the fact that almost every Country strongly agreed with what we are doing, and that Iran cannot, in any way, shape, or form, be allowed to have a Nuclear Weapon. I am not surprised by their action, however, because I always considered NATO, where we spend Hundreds of Billions of Dollars per year protecting these same Countries, to be a one way street – We will protect them, but they will do nothing for us, in particular, in a time of need. Fortunately, we have decimated Iran’s Military – Their Navy is gone, their Air Force is gone, their Anti-Aircraft and Radar is gone and perhaps, most importantly, their Leaders, at virtually every level, are gone, never to threaten us, our Middle Eastern Allies, or the World, again! Because of the fact that we have had such Military Success, we no longer “need,” or desire, the NATO Countries’ assistance — WE NEVER DID! Likewise, Japan, Australia, or South Korea. In fact, speaking as President of the United States of America, by far the Most Powerful Country Anywhere in the World, WE DO NOT NEED THE HELP OF ANYONE! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DONALD J. TRUMP Watch more here…. He can’t say it any clearer than this: HOLY SMOKES. President Trump just EVISCERATED American "allies" refusing to help the US secure the Strait of Hormuz, openly MOCKS them "Do you have any minesweepers? 'Well, we'd rather NOT get involved, sir!' I said, you mean for 40 YEARS we're protecting YOU and you don't want to get involved in something that is very minor?!" "Very few shots going to be taken because they don't have many shots left." "But they said, 'we'd rather not get involved!'" "We'll protect them! If ever needed, they WON'T BE THERE FOR US. I knew that for a long period of time!" — Eric Daugherty (@EricLDaugh) March 16, 2026 And do you know what happens when we leave NATO? We immediately cease all aid to Ukraine. FINALLY! Why are we protecting countries who won’t protect us? FREE RIDE IS OVER! Heck, even the NeoCon Warmonger John Bolton is smart enough to see they just walked right into a massive trap: Read more: 100percentfedup.com/update-nato-co…

I had faith CP was on the right path with this, I was prepared to chime in if he missed the importance of propaganda and frankly hiding by our enemies, to their success. He nailed it: "Our military opponents, from Ho Chi Minh to Osama bin Ladin, knew that the only way to defeat the USA is to demoralize the American populace such that it demands withdrawal and throws the then current Commander-in-Chief out of office. The ONLY way to defeat America militarily is to convince the American people that a war is unwinnable. "
Cynical Publius@CynicalPublius

RE: The Way of War of Our Enemies In every hot war the United States has become involved in since the Korean War, we have enjoyed absolute tactical and operational dominance over our enemies. We win every tactical engagement, overwhelmingly. Operationally we can and do dominate any theater of our choosing. No one—and I mean NO ONE—can stand toe to toe with the US military. This has been true for decades. We’ve talked before about the elements of national power—the “DIME” (Diplomacy, Informational, Military, Economic). Our military power is unsurpassed. We are masters of diplomacy. We have the world’s strongest economy. So how do we lose? The INFORMATIONAL component. Our military opponents, from Ho Chi Minh to Osama bin Ladin, knew that the only way to defeat the USA is to demoralize the American populace such that it demands withdrawal and throws the then current Commander-in-Chief out of office. The ONLY way to defeat America militarily is to convince the American people that a war is unwinnable. The slow dribble of IED deaths in OIF was not actually targeting soldiers and Marines—it was targeting YOU, the American people. And CNN eagerly complied with death counts running across the bottom of the screen. The Tet Offensive? It was a decisive US victory that could have ended the Vietnam War in our favor. But Walter Cronkite instead declared the war lost, protests erupted nationwide, and the war was lost. The Highway of Death in Kuwait? We could have taken out Saddam Hussein in 1991 and never needed to go back in 2003, but international media made the attack on retreating Iraqis look “too cruel,” so we halted just short of the finish line. The strategic imperative of every one of America’s military enemies is to break the will of the American people with skewed information, propaganda, and extreme emphasis on America’s minor losses amidst overwhelming military victory. But the Ho Chi Minhs and Osama bin Ladins can’t do that by themselves. They need willing partners in the American media and government. And for Operation Epic Fury, boy oh boy do the Iranian mullahs have an over abundance of American morale killers to draw from in order to defeat America through the informational instrument of national power. Tucker Carlson. Senator Mark Kelly and the rest of the Seditious Six. CNN. ABC. NBC. CBS. NYT, WaPo. Pakistani bot armies on social media. X “influencers” like Cerno, Candace, MartyrMade and Ian Carroll. Every idiot claiming we are fighting “Israel’s war." There is an entire Army of American politicians and media figures who are willingly fighting Iran’s informational war on its behalf (and in some cases, at its behest). America is DECISIVELY WINNING the war on Iran in every measurable respect. Yet there are so many influential Americans who are desperately determined to make you believe otherwise. In days of old in non-US countries, such people would have been strung up for treason. Thankfully it’s 2026 and we have a First Amendment, so no one fear being treated in such a medieval manner. But we can still ostracize and ridicule such people and sources for the irreparable harm they are wreaking upon the USA as they do the bidding (intentionally or unintentionally) of Theo-fascist mullahs who are determined to set off a nuclear bomb so that the Twelfth Imam will arise from a well in Qom and precipitate the global apocalypse. We all need to choose sides. Are you with America, or are you with theologic-inspired, deliberate Armageddon? And anyone who chooses the latter needs to be the target of mockery, derision and clearly-stated facts disproving their lies. And if YOU are an American Patriot, you can fight that informational war on America’s behalf, right now, right here on social media, right there in your own living room. Your voice matters, and your voice is actually a part of the war. FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT.
