Interested in the science of language models but tired of neural scaling laws? Here's a new perspective: our new paper presents neural thermodynamic laws -- thermodynamic concepts and laws naturally emerge in language model training! AI is naturAl, not Artificial, after all.

🇨🇳Estos ciudadanos chinos se han negado a aceptar las compensaciones del Estado para vender sus propiedades y recolocarse en otro lugar, para hacer sitios a infraestructuras públicas, y su derecho se protege. La propiedad es respetada en China.

@PhysInHistory It's what it is, though people who believe in that usually use their poorly documented evidences as proofs, when there are thousands more indices that point to the contrary. People choose to believe what they want to believe. And also I'm afraid of the dark.

I don't think this is exactly right. My guess is that a lot of AI art will be similar to what has happened in the clothing industry: technology speeds up production, benefitting consumers. Only enthusiasts will care if something is made by hand or not. Will give examples. 🧵
Pork@Eatporkplease1

@raphaelerba I made this with AI to explain that the talented will always have a place in Art. AI Art democratizes creativity, much like digital cameras democratized photography; empowering many, enhancing the few.
