The Federal budget increased by about 4% last year. You can't possibly be dumb enough to believe that having another 0.1% would somehow lead to free lunches and insulin. If anyone in government leadership wanted to do that, money wouldn't be stopping them and you know it.
Elizabeth Warren@SenWarren

Jeff Bezos has $222 billion. If he paid my wealth tax this year, we could fund insulin in America for everyone who needs it plus free school lunch for every kid in Texas—and have plenty of money left over. And Bezos would still have $215 billion dollars to spare.

Somalians are possibly the very worst performing immigrant group here in Denmark, among many extremely poorly performing immigrant groups. For second-generation Somalian men who grew up here aged 20-29, more than a third are neither employed nor taking an education. This is by far the highest proportion among any group. What are all these Somalis doing? Probably crime mostly. 62% of second-generation Somalis are convicted of a violent crime by the age of 30.

⚡️This chart is directionally true but the interpretation is dramatically wrong and reveals a shallow understanding of how sovereign debt, Treasury issuance, rollover dynamics, and fiscal-monetary coordination actually work. The person posting this is trying to sound like they discovered a nuclear threat, but what they’re calling a “time bomb” is literally how the US sovereign funding system is designed to work. Let me break it down cleanly. 1. Yes, a huge portion of US debt matures in 2026. Correct. Roughly 7–8 trillion in Treasury bills, notes and bonds roll in that year. This is because: •2020–2021 COVID issuance was massive •Much of it was short duration •Bills and 2–3 year notes dominate that cohort So the chart isn’t fake. But the conclusion is. 2. Rolling sovereign debt is not a crisis. It is the system. The US does not “pay off” debt. The US rolls debt. Treasury issuance is the refinancing mechanism. The U.S. could roll 20 trillion tomorrow and the bond market would absorb it because: •Treasuries are global collateral •Treasuries are reserve assets •Treasuries are the base layer for repo, MMFs, FX swaps •Treasuries have infinite buyer-of-last-resort capacity (Fed) There is no such thing as the US “not being able to roll debt”. This is not a corporate balance sheet. This is the world’s reserve currency issuer. 3. Higher interest costs do not create a funding crisis - they create policy response. When debt rolls at higher rates, the outcome is: •Higher interest expense •Larger deficits •More Treasury issuance •More pressure for the Fed to lower real rates over time •More political incentive toward financial repression This is bullish for Bitcoin, not bearish. High debt loads force: •lower real yields •yield curve control •liquidity accommodation •dollar debasement pathways Which is literally the Bitcoin supercycle engine. 4. 2026 is exactly why the Fed is quietly pivoting now. The Fed knows: •massive bills rollover is coming •deficits are structurally high •the labor market is softening •structural stagnation in China frees global disinflation •a dovish incoming chair is likely •political pressure for growth is enormous The Fed is already preparing the liquidity regime for this rollover environment. The bill purchases announced this week? This is the pre-game. You don’t restart reserve injection unless you’re preparing for future Treasury absorption needs. 5. 2026 debt wall strengthens the Bitcoin thesis. This is the key truth no one on Crypto Twitter understands: A debt maturity wall for a sovereign issuer is not a crash signal. It is a currency-debasement signal. When interest costs rise dramatically: •policymakers MUST lean on nominal growth •the Fed MUST tilt dovish •real yields MUST fall •liquidity MUST rise This is the structural setup for Bitcoin melt-up, not meltdown. It is financial repression 101. The person posting this is mistaking: “A problem for savers and bonds” for “A problem for assets with fixed supply.” It’s the opposite. This is why gold thrives under high-debt regimes. Bitcoin is gold on leverage. 6. Point-by-point: why the post is wrong “Interest costs are about to explode.” True. But exploding interest costs force policy easing, not tightening. “Something has to give.” Yes. And the thing that “gives” historically is: •real yields •the dollar’s purchasing power •long-term fiscal discipline Not asset prices. “This will hit everything.” Wrong. It hits: •bonds •fixed income •cash savers It benefits: •equities •real assets •commodities •Bitcoin “I called the top.” Irrelevant. The person misunderstands structural macro.

God was incarnated as a man, walked amongst us, & taught us many lessons. What did He teach? Not science, not technology, not philosophy, or civil administration. He taught us how to love each other, and how to worship God. The other stuff is easy. Thank you Jesus.

@CoinDesk @realDannyNelson Although I did not write a dissent (yet?), I voted against the action. It's another example of the SEC's imprecise legal reasoning in crypto cases, which only adds to the uncertainty for crypto projects in the US.

It's quite fascinating that we are still arguing if cooking with seed oils is bad for us. Here's the entire story that will help you understand the basics in roughly 2 minutes👇 Back in 1911, a consumer goods corporation you've probably heard of started its own seed oil company and began promoting it. What is this corporation I'm talking about? P&G aka Procter and Gamble. And the seed oil company it launched is called Crisco. Now what happened is they started running numerous marketing campaigns, promoting Crisco seed oils as a healthier alternative to butter. Not only that, but they also paid the American Heart Association to say that heart diseases are caused by saturated fat, and not seed oils. This was the foundation of seed oil promotion. What's fascinating is that within just 5 years of Crisco's launch, P&G had already sold enough industrial cooking fat to supply every household in America with three cans. But the real propaganda started many decades later. From 1988 to 1994, a wealthy "health activist" named Phil Sokolof spent $15 million on several ads promoting seed oils. His ads were on the cover of the biggest newspapers out there: -USA Today -Wall Street Journal -The New York Times and many others. As well as big TV commercials. He openly criticized McDonald's, Wendy's, and other big fast food chains for using beef tallow. Masking it as a health promotion. And along with government organizations that had repeatedly received funding from seed oil companies, it was 2 major forces promoting this garbage. On top of that, it was widely known that seed oils are much cheaper and easier to produce compared to beef tallow. In fact, back in 1988, it was around 2X-4X cheaper. (Depending on where you supplied it and how). So as you can understand, with public criticism coming their way and their wallets noticing a clear benefit, fast food chains quickly began cooking with seed oils. P&G and other vegetable oil companies did fund research and organizations that aligned with their interests, including studies that supported the shift away from animal fats. For example, P&G donated funds to the AHA in the 1940s and 1950s, which helped establish its credibility, but direct causation (paying for specific claims) lacks clear documentation. But why exactly are these types of fat problematic? Here's a list of reason. Number 1: The way they are produced. The corporations making them, gather the seeds they want to make an “oil” out of, such as GMO soy, cotton, rapeseed most of which are owned mostly by just 4 companies (2 in reality). Then these “seeds” are heated to extremely high temperatures obviously causing the seeds to oxidize creating extremely powerful and cancerous byproducts. Then the seeds are processed with a petroleum-based solvent such as hexane to maximize the amount of “oil” extracted from them. Next they use more chemicals to deodorize the oils since they smell horrendous and finally more chemicals are added to improve their color. Now how is this actually good for us i have no clue. For example, when seed oils are processed at high temperatures (sometimes up to 500°F) toxic byproducts like 4-HNE and acrolein are created and just these compounds that have been shown to trigger widespread inflammation and disrupt normal cell signaling. Number 2: They are deuterium bombs. Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe, but it has a heavier isotope called deuterium that can significantly impact your health (both positively and negatively). Here's why: while deuterium occurs naturally in small amounts in water, food and your body at about 150 parts per million (ppm) in typical water and SLIGHT deuterium enrichment might act as an antioxidant, a variety of factors has led to an overload in many people, potentially disrupting things such as mitochondrial function. Mitochondria rely on hydrogen to produce ATP and deuterium’s heavy mass can interfere with this process when it replaces hydrogen (it can stall or break the tiny “nanomotors” in your mitochondria, like ATP synthase). Number 3: Consuming them results in getting way too much O6s. But too much linoleic acid also increases the expression of nuclear factor NF-kB, the transition of NF-kB stimulates pro-inflammatory cytokines which have a negative impact on the CNS. Providing too much O6s will also result in prostaglandin release. Why is this a problem? Because from hair loss, hormonal issues such as low testosterone and cancer all the way to schizophrenia and depression, prostaglandins are involved in the occurrence of all of these. Number 4: The vast majority of them come for GMO seeds which your body has no clue what to do with them and modifying foods to this extend is a means of taking over the overall food supply. Here are some numbers: -94% of U.S. soybean crops are GMO -95% of U.S. canola is GMO -92% of U.S. corn is GMO -96% of U.S. cotton is GMO "No, no. Hold on. Don't these fats contain nutrients such as vitamin E and are thus good for us?" As stated previously in this thread oils undergo extensive refining (bleaching, deodorizing etc). This will by default strips nutrients such as vitamin E. But besides this soybean and cotton production relies on large-scale monoculture farming, which depletes the nutrients that the soil has as well. Number 5: They are awful for the environment. Just soy expansion, has caused TEN PERCENT of Amazon deforestation from 2000–2010. And of course, soy production emits almost 4.5 kg CO2 per kg of oil. Then cotton uses up to 16% of GLOBAL insecticides while only occupying 2.5% of farmland. Number 6: They remodel the cardiolipin structure of mitochondria (the energy centers of the cell). Number 7: They can contain heavy metals. And there's more. Point being that we are being fed cheap waste products that ruin your health, the environment and local economies. The solution to this is shopping high quality fats from local producers. Will you die if you consume these fats once in a blue moon? No. Will you get sick if you consume them frequently? Yes. Now here's a practical example of how these fats can affect specific issues. Since 40% of U.S. adults have liver disease for example, here's why monitoring the amount of linoleic acid that you consume if you have some issues with your liver a non-negotiable. -Oxidative stress is a primary cause of fatty liver disease and linoleic acid is highly susceptible to oxidation. -Dietary linoleic acid is required for the development of experimentally induced alcoholic liver injury. -Lowering dietary linoleic acid is shown to be protective against chronic high-fat diet-induced steatohepatitis. -4-HNE (a byproduct of lipid peroxidation, formed when polyunsaturated fatty acids like linoleic acid oxidize) damages hepatocytes, promotes the release of cytokines like TNF-α and IL-6 and activates hepatic stellate cells. And that’s just one byproduct (malondialdehyde (MDA) for example, will also cause damage). -18.8 g/day of PUFAs is positively related to the risk of NAFLD (this might seem a lot but it’s 2.5 tablespoons of corn oil, soybean oil, or cottonseed oil without you consuming anything else for the entire day) And this is without even discussing facts such as that linoleic acid is a precursor to arachidonic acid and thus prostaglandins such as PGE2 that, when in excess have been linked to the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/252511/ pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/2915600/ pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28923202/ pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35356289/

@LordTylerWard @TroyMurs Why shouldn't/can't #barnbridge $bond get the same benefit of a vacated/rescinded settlement and have its penalties returned so it can't start up again??
Eleanor Terrett@EleanorTerrett

🚨SCOOP: Two well-placed sources tell me that the @SECGov vs. @Ripple case is in the process of wrapping up and could be over soon. My understanding is that the delay in reaching an agreement is due to Ripple's legal team negotiating more favorable terms regarding the August district court ruling, which imposed a $125M fine on the company and included a permanent injunction preventing the company from selling $XRP to institutional investors. The argument, I’m told, is that if the new SEC leadership is wiping the enforcement slate clean for all previously-targeted crypto firms because it believes regulatory clarity will resolve the underlying issue, why should Ripple still be penalized? Accepting the Torres ruling as it stands would mean that Ripple is essentially agreeing to admit to wrongdoing — but now the SEC itself is seemingly unsure whether any wrongdoing occurred. There’s no real playbook for this kind of thing which could explain why this case is taking longer to resolve than the rest. Stay tuned.

$XRP Our XRP immediate degree entry is now up over 200%(threaded) Last update we were sitting on a 44% gain right under major resistance(threaded) Obviously we got the follow through we were hoping to see & gained that .83 level I lean towards this being an immediate degree 4th I wouldn't be surprised if we see a pullback into that low $1 level before a continuation higher If this gets 100 likes & retweets I'll do a macro degree XRP chart with my ultimate target for the end of this bull run
