@nkeung . I am in dire straits. I have a family to support and I have a job now. But I am very panicked as my wp is going to expire soon. have a PhD and do not know why I am at such a receiving end. Have been working here for 4 years and was hoping will get the PR. Can you help?

@loku_tech @MarcMillerVM It happened very infrequently. But you need at least 2 years of work experience to get a nomination.

@MarcMillerVM However, given my age, my EE is in the 450s which means it does not have a good chance for getting picked by the federal system. My oinp profile is not within the in-demand category and hence won't have a nomination without a general draw. 2/3

@MarcMillerVM . Honorable minister, I have been on an open work permit for more than 2.5 years and working as a food technologist in Canada . I have always cherished and appreciated Canadian values and ethos and intend to live the same with my family. 1/3

@CitImmCanada I have been in Canada for the last 3 years and have been diligently contributing to the economy and the workforce since. As a technologist, just because my NOC code is not in the high demand category, will I be denied a Canadian PR? When is CEC happening?
